    My go to breakfast lately:
1 cup frozen tropical fruit mix
    1/2 frozen banana
    2 tbsp chia seeds
    1 cup skim milk
    1 cup spinach

That'd be 14g of protein there. Sometimes I add plain greek yogurt for a little more.

This might be the exact same one I posted earlier in this thread...

    1c skim milk
    100g carrot
    100g broccoli
    1 Scoop CanadianProtein Premium Whey
    200g Blueberries

Sidenote - Arugula NOT for smoothies. I but a tiny like 25-30g in the other day and it just ruined my whole smoothie.

I found when I had a mix of spinach and arugula and put 10g in, the taste was quite nice. But the arugula has a distinct flavour.

    Today I have
    spinach
    frozen fruit
    North Coast Naturals vanilla
    Greek yogurt
Vegetable/fruit juice (like V8 fusion but PC version)
    Water/ice as needed

Well I love spinach in everything, but last night, I made a smoothie, which had

    8oz of Almond Milk unsweetened

    3 cubes, of frozen watermelon

    3 cubes, of frozen cantalope

1 teaspoon of Jello Vanilla Pudding Dry Mix

a sprinkle of chia seed, and flax mixed

No Ice Needed, Freezing your fruit works great, it was sort of like a sorbet / italian ice.

Pours it into an 8oz cup, grabbed a spoon and enjoyed.

I just bought a NutriBullet this weekend & I've been looking for smoothie ideas, so this thread is perfect! The smoothie I'm drinking right now has...

    1 cup mixed greens
1/3 cup each of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries
    banana
    1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp each of chia seed and flax seed
    2 tbsp honey

When I get home it's going to be:

    .5 scoup whey protein vanilla
.5 scoup raw protein (vegan) vanilla
    1 c unsweetened almond milk
.25 c vanilla nonfat greek yogurt
    .5 banana
    6 strawberries

    31 protein ~ 33 carbs ~ 6 fat

    Yummier than it sounds

I do Kimberly Snyder's Golden Green Smoothie!

    1 1/2 cups water
1 head organic romaine lettuce, chopped
3 to 4 stalks organic celery
1/2 head of a large bunch or 3/4 of a small bunch of organic spinach
1 organic apple, cored and chopped
1 organic pear, cored and chopped
    1 organic banana
Juice of 1/2 fresh organic lemon
Optional: 1/3 bunch organic cilantro (stems OK) and 1/3 bunch organic parsley (stems OK)

Blend greens first. Then add pear, apple and celery. Last - Banana and lemon - then ice. You need a very good blender for this smoothie to break down the greens.
  • I have a nutribullet, that I adore.

    1 cup kale
    1 banana
    4 prunes
    5 large seeded grapes
    1 tablespoon chia seeds
    1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
    1 tablespoon nutribullet superfood mix

    Yum
  • Using the Nutribullet:

    - a handful of spinach
    - one banana
    - a handful of frozen strawberries
    - water

For some reason, this super duper simple recipe is so good! I think it's the sweetness from the strawberries and the thickness from the banana that makes this "smoothie" a frozen treat. I say "smoothie" because it comes out thick, almost like it's a dessert. I haven't advanced my smoothies yet with chia seeds or protein powder or whatever, but I think greens, frozen fruit, and a banana is a good start for a newbie.

Oops, I forgot to indicate that the protein powder is 100% Whey Protein Isolate, and in the mornings I use my Magic Bullet, while in the evenings after I lift, I use my Breville Juicer to juice different fruit and veggies plus the protein isolate and/or Slimfast Powder or Designer Whey.
    My breakfast:

    1 Scoop of protein powder
    1 Tbsp. Chia seeds
    1 Banana
1.5 Cup triple berry blend (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
1 Cup unsweetened almond vanilla milk
