I love ending my day with a little treat, but I always want it to be healthy. I'm getting kind of tired of arctic zero, greek yogurt, fruit parfaits, fruit, etc. haha I have tried lots of different things : ) Is there any recipes (preferably without flour) or even a healthy or healthy-ish treat you buy at a store? I always see those skinny cow desserts but it seems like those are just unhealthy ice cream bars shrunk in size for less calories :P Ideas?!

Talenti is clean as long as you don't drop it on the way to your mouth :flowerforyou:0

Eat whatever you want.... Run for 30 mins (or more based on how much you eat) to compensate.0

Why not have a serving of ice cream or a cookie?? These foods aren't bad, in moderation.0

Yeah, I don't know dude.
I mean, one of my favorite snacks/treats in the summer time is plain greek yogurt mixed with fresh strawberries and a serving of Nutella. Helps me meet my protein goals and tastes pretty delicious at the same time.
But I guess I'm a little unclear on the definition of "clean" and "healthy". I just try to meet my body's nutritional requirements with a moderate and balanced diet, which sometimes includes Ben & Jerry's.0 -

Whenever I crave cheesecake I spread a little bit of cream cheese over a Graham cracker and my sweet tooth is satisfied0

A few years back, when I was 250 pounds and flirting with diabetes, I discovered many low sugar, low calorie desserts. Now that I'm down in the 180 range, I still eat some of them. My favorite frozen pie recipe is:
8 oz Lite {or sugar free} Cool Whip
1 package Sugar free Jello {of your favorite flavor}
2 packages Lite Yoplait yogurt {matching jello flavor}
I have made this in just about ever flavor you can think of. It's 91 calories a serving.
And a 66 calorie chilled pudding I really like:
1 1.4 oz packages of Jello sugar free pudding and pie filling
1 1/2 cups skim milk
2 cups lite Cool Whip
Tonight we served cheesecake pudding on frozen Margarita pie. They were very good together.

Try googling clean eating desserts. There are lots out there. I eat clean 80% and have made "clean" brownies, chocolate pb cups, junior mints, you name it. j0

I just ate the booty off an Easter Bunny chocolate cake…with white frosting and blue shredded coconut. But since it was the booty, that's probably not clean, is it?0

Slice a banana and freeze.
Blend frozen banana slices with peanut butter until texture is like ice cream.
It's amazing! No sugar needed.

I agree that it is very important to have your desserts clean. Hygiene is very important when it comes to food handling.0

A frozen banana, half a cup of coconut milk any other frozen fruit eg raspberries or blueberries . Blitz in the food processor. Best icecream Eva!0

As long as the Skinny Cow calorie and nutritional count fits into your day, in my opinion, that is fine. They do taste very good.0

The new Ben & Jerry's core ice creams - noms. Especially good when topped w/whipped cream, a little extra peanut butter and some crushed M&M's. Or Pop-Tarts.0

Almonds or Walnuts dipped in Nutella
Nutella and bananas
Ice cream - with or without Nutella
All of these have no flour - I'm assuming that is your definition of "clean" from your OP.0 -

How is this an "eating disorder trick"? Lots of us on here on MFP will often do a little more working out to "earn" an extra scoop of ice cream or a cookie once in a while... and no one could ever suspect *me* of having an ED. I like food way too much!0 -
righ fruit sorbets, my favourite is mango sorbet - check the ingredients, i've found one which contains the mango
also any ice-cream - i just have a 50g serving and it's wonderful, I get to have walnut at the moment, when i've done enough exercise to spare the calories0 -
I make my own trifle type thing - home-made jelly flavoured with some of my protein shake flavouring powder (I buy unflavoured protein, and a selection of the flavourings seperately) topped with a huge serving of quark (nom nom nom) and fruit (or whatever you want to sprinkle on the top - nuts/granola etc).0

I like the Skinny Cow ice cream treats. They aren't much smaller than others, they are just low fat. But I've never been a fan of phlegmy milk fat so I actually prefer low fat ice cream treats.
But a fairly clean dessert I make is to mix dry rolled oats, peanut butter and a little maple syrup and eat with a spoon.
Fried apples mixed with toasted oats and nuts is pretty tasty too.0 -
Thank you all for the healthy ideas and recipes!!! I will definitely get creative tonight : )0

I love the yaso frozen Greek yogurt bars. They are 80-100 calories each and very low in fat. My favorite flavors are vanilla bean and salty caramel but there are many more like fudge and strawberry. Another healthy dessert choice is fruit dipped in a bit of chocolate. Sometimes I like to freeze fruit like mango and melon, basically any fruit that has some water in it. When it's frozen it's a bit icy. And don't forget smoothies! Low fat fruit yogurt or simply fruit blended up is a great dessert choice. You can then make Popsicles out of that. Hope I helped!!0
