Ejourneys - how are you feeling? How is your recovery going. I'm so impressed that you are exercising so soon after surgery.
I was sore for a few days but I didn't even need ibuprofen, let alone the stronger stuff. Had a seroma for a while (fluid buildup, pressure but no pain) at the SLNB incision, but that's gone down and that incision is healing very nicely. Lumpectomy incision has longer to go and the fluid buildup there can hang around for quite a while, but there's no pain. I've got most of my arm flexibility back. (Today was the first day I wore my usual T-shirt instead of a front-button one.)
Once I'm sufficiently healed from surgery, I'll start radiation and hormone treatments. My recurrence score is intermediate, which means it's iffy as to whether or not I'll go on chemo. I see the oncologist again on Tuesday, so I should have a better idea then.
I'm sure that keeping fit has a lot to do with my recovery. Not sure if I mentioned this earlier, but my hospital discharge kept being delayed because my BP stubbornly refused to go up. I was finally discharged with a BP of 79/42 because I was asymptomatic. BP at the surgeon's office on Thursday was 90/60 -- I had to tell the nurse that this is not too low for me. My blood work is all fine, so that's another good sign that I'm starting out strong. :drinker:

Hmmm why not. I'll try this challenge. I need to get to working out anyway. I'm doing good with the eating a little bit better part but I can't seem to get the motivation to actually start to exercise and I'm not sure why. Maybe once I find the time of day that works for me I'll be fine. ^_^0
