I'm 5'7, started my life style journey 3 years ago and lost 55 pounds. I would like to lose 10 more pounds and gain more muscle.
Add me as a friend if you like!0 -
I am 5' 8" I began at 305 lbs. I am at 238 this morning ! I had already started on my own before finding MFP. I am pretty evenly proportioned ( fat everywhere, not just certain places) I am 48 years old. I was wearing very stretchy 22/24 in pants and 24's or sometimes 26 in shirts because I am tall and anything smaller did not reach the waist band of my pants.
now I buy an 18 in pants no stretch and an 18/20 shirt. I feel great, I have def changed my life style and the times I have chosen to eat unhealthy like general's chicken and fried rice, I immediately wanted to take a nap. I was happy that I was totally aware of how that made me feel. Eating healthier has given me so much more energy.
I would love to compare, nice to meet you ! Happy Healthy life style !0 -

"also I am gluten intolerant so have some diet challenges, gluten free food is higher in cals GRRR "
I hear that! It's also lower in fiber, higher in sugar and more difficult to bake with! Bah! I can't even eat out anymore. I'm too sensitive  and kept getting sicker and sicker when I did.
I'm 5'9", 145, maintenance and looking to build muscle for kick boxing. I am also gluten free (celiac). We have a lot of tall women on here0 -
