Serbian Hungarian and Russian, which is why everyone on my mothers side of the family have stunning blue eyes(mine got a bit messed up so they are more grey than blue).

Second generation Irish on mother's side. Came over with the Mayflower British on father's side. In my family, this was considered a mixed marriage.

My father and his family 100% Czech back 150 years (I have a 150 yr old Czech Bible to prove it! LOL!)
My mom is 1/4 Japanese and 3/4 French. So basically I'm Eurasian but look 100% Czech.

When we traveled in my teens overseas folks would assume I was from Eastern Europe instead of the US and start talking to me in Czech, Polish, Hungarian or other E. European languages. I would tell them I was from the US. They would inevitably look quite surprised then politely tell me I looked and had the mannerisms of an Eastern European. I never actually knew what that meant but it seemed to be a compliment.

Born & raised in Ukraine, so 100% Ukrainian.
There's a small bit of Polish, Russian & German mixed in however if you consider how the borders changed...

Everyone's heritage going back long enough is from stars or 13.7 billion years ago (estimated age of universe).
According to national geographic, everyone's heritage going back around 60000 years is Africa. =)https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/human-journey/

We are all very close kin. Some say the Toba supervolcano in Indonesia 70K years ago killed everyone but 10K folks. Others say that mcuh earlier there was a long bottleneck in sub-Saharan Africa where the number of people could have dropped as low as 2,000, for perhaps as long as 100,000 years. These kinds of bottlenecks greatly reduced genetic diversity. I heard one scientist say that Charles Barkley was closer kin to the Queen of England than two wild Chimpanzees living 10 miles apart. Skin color just tells us how long ago your ancestors left Africa.
  • Scottish, Irish and a bit of English too! :)
