    I'm in on this too!. I'm 51 and weigh 156 today. I sure need to loose weight to give my joints a break. So I can move around easier and not be so out of breath.

    thought i was having a great start to the new year....super healthy eating, keeping within my calories, went for a run.....then got a migrane so was up all night vomiting, and have been feeling icky all day from it. Still remained in my calories, and managed a small stroll to the beach this evening. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!!

    Holidays are officially over, and I am ready to be dedicated. I am starting at 152 pounds, and plan to end 18 pounds lighter at 134 pounds!

    Ouch, my session with my personal trainer gets postponed all the time (not by me!!), so I won't have my starting weight until Thursday.

    But I have my starting measurements from last Wednesday - 80.5 cm waist and 106 cm hips/butt. And it WILL come off!

    I also prefer the shorter targets as I like to do it a bit at a time. I totally lost the plot with the Christmas challenge (mainly due to work and being overseas for 7 of the previous 8 weeks, but also because I wasn't always able to sign in and check in my calories), so I'm more or less back to where I started :0( I'm gobsmacked at how easy it is to 'underestimate' the calories when away from home and myfitnesspal!!! And Yes, I do have the mobile app, but couldn't always get online :(

    So, I'm in for the Valentines challenge.

    Starting weight = 174.4 old fashioned English Pounds
    Target weight = 160 of the same

    Total loss required = one old fashioned English Stone by 14th February 2011.

    Let's go - I started today ;0)

    I am just starting so this small goal will be good motivation to get going. Is it too late to join? I'm currently at my highest weight ever - 210. So, I'd like to lose 14 lbs and get back under 200 by V-day.

    Well, I am going to have bow out of this challenge. I received a shocking Christmas present--I'm expecting baby #3! So my weight loss is on hold for now. I am hoping to only gain the 20lbs that I just lost. I'm definitely counting calories to keep me from overeating and gaining 40-45lbs that I gained with my first 2 pregnancies!
