If you are ever in Blountstown Florida around suppertime, just swing by the Civic Center. I'm here most nights, and would love the company.0 -

Actually I am in western Kansas!! I would love to come to Florida, but doesn't seem to be in the plan!0 -
Lunch today will be a salad like I had yesterday:
spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, imitation crab, maybe I will add a hard-boiled egg.
Tonight's menu:
Ham & bean soup w/ potatoes & diced tomatoes
Cornbread ( I will need to be very careful as I could eat 2-3 pieces - but I will not!!)
Tossed salad
Have a great day0 -
Last night was chicken enchiladas
Tonight is shrimp & grits

Everything looks and sounds good tonight. I didn't have any firm plans for supper, and came up with something new. Or new to me anyway. I had a pastrami and egg wrap, with tomato, onion, Jalapeno and cheese. It was pretty good. I browned the meat in the pan after the eggs were done, and the heat brought out the flavor really well. Also had green beans and stir fry veggies.

Still no internet at home. I had laid out some of the black bean soup to thaw, but when I decided to come into town, I put it in the fridge for tomorrow night. I stopped by Harvey's and picked up a rack of ribs. Not sure of the sides, but most likely green beans, stir fry, Jalapeno poppers and sweet potato.

It is still in the 50's here so we had the rest of the soup. DH cleaned up the cornbread. Now, on to May!!0

My internet is back!!!! Boy did I miss it when it was gone. Supper was pork ribs, poppers, corn, mixed and stir fry veggies and bread. And a slice of the low sugar Margarita pie. Very good.

We had black bean soup along with the ribs from last night. I cut up a tomato in my second bowl of soup. Also had a slice of the low sugar Margarita pie, with orange. It was the first time I had tried it like that. It's good together.

Good evening!
We had baked minute steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli florets. DH also had bread!
I baked double steaks to put in the freezer to have at a later date.0 -
I had a sweet 16 party at work tonight. I had almonds, oranges, an apple and stir fry while I was waiting for them to invite me to eat:bigsmile: But it was good when I finally got a plate. Wings, cheese ball, rotell dip, crackers and a cup of jello. I shouldn't complain, not everyone has a job where the customers feed them.

Real food tonight. Two kinds of green salad, plus crab salad, chicken salad, grape salad, pulled pork, smoked wings, spicy wings and ham & cream cheese rollups. Now I have to walk for the next hour to get my numbers out of the red.

Had a bowl of the spinach and fruit salad once I got home from work. Tried a dressing the wife had bought for a recipe, and never got around to cooking. Maple Grove Farms Of Vermont Balsamic Vinagrette Sugar Free. I really liked it.

I feel your pain. The lighting got us last week, and I went in to work two nights in a row when I wasn't scheduled, just for the wifi.0 -
Late supper tonight. We went to town after I got in from work. My wife got a snack at Taco Bell, but I waited to get home.
