Can I still join this? I didn't follow through last month, but I've finally gotten on a consistent mileage schedule and have a 10K to prepare for during the month, so I'm going with 60 miles (with the hope that it will be more). First May run will be tomorrow, not today, however.

5/1 - 4 Miles

I totally screwed up in April. I was away at a conference during the first week. Then I was sick pretty much the remainder of the month. I had set a goal of 60 miles, I think I might have hit 30 miles between walking [majority] and running [minority]. This month the weather will hopefully be better, I am well again, I have a 10K coming up on May 11th and am taking off a few weeks the end of the month. I am going to set my goal at 60 miles again for this month; hopefully I will make it :-)

This May, I'm aiming for 160k, which I think is a reasonably good distance that will still allow me to rest from my half marathon training. The race is this Sunday, and for the rest of the month I'll try to squeeze 30-40 k per week of nice, leisurely jogs combined with other activities.0 -
