I did 5.50 miles in my treadmill it took me an hour and 35 min... LOL my feets are num now0

The formula to track the miles will be the tried and true:
"_____ (my miles today) + ______ (my total miles) + _______ (total group miles) = ________ NEW TOTAL GROUP MILES"
Maybe I am not getting this, but if we add our miles for today to our total & then add that to the group, won't it be overstated because we will be adding our personal total in everyday? Shouldn't we just add our daily miles to the total group miles for it to be accurate? Our personal total & the group total should be different, right?0 -

We missed MarieS14's miles, which is 5.5 that she walked in two days. This brings the group's total to 55.2. MarieS14, we are simply adding our new miles to the group's miles. We skip the middle part of the equation because our previous miles walked is included in the group's miles already.
I walked 2.37 miles this morning. This brings the group's total to 57.57.

I am not sure how I am going to track this I just got my heart rate monitor going and I was running for 40 minutes yesterday so I think I am at about 4 miles. I will start there I guess.

Another group member added your miles to the total for you in a previous post. So from now on just add your total for the day to the formula. Have a good day!
