From Skinny-Fat to Fit and Muscular

I was the typical skinny-fat. I looked okay in clothes, but I wasn't happy. I started a new relationship and I wanted to not feel so insecure with my body around him. He showed me a couple upper body exercises and I loved how strong/sore the weights made me feel. I did some research, some trial and error and came up with a routine that I liked. Fast forward to now, I feel stronger than ever!
I'm currently on a bulk, so I'm in the process on gaining some muscle/fat before I cut down some fat for a competition. I plan on competing in a bikini comp after a couple years of bulking. Wish me luck! Bulking is such a taxing mental game.
Here's my progress so far.

You don't need a trainer. I didn't have one, so it took me long while to figure out a routine that worked well with my schedule. It's always a work in progress. If you'd like to start lifting, I suggest checking out the 'stickies' in the female forum of bodybuilding.com .0 -

Hi there! I'm 5'2". I weighed around 113 lbs in the first picture. By September, I was around 100 lbs. I'm currently 110 lbs. : )
