What is your favorite thing within your beauty/style routine, the one thing you refuse to go without (if any)?
Not just makeup either, skin care, hair care etc.... and what products or style tricks have proven to be the most affective for you?
Guys: You can answer too

I use Beauty without Cruelty for my make up, for ethical reasons and I find the products are good to my skin (no harsh chemicals) http://www.bwcshop.com/
For my face I use Naked Bodycare - again, 97% natural, no harsh chemicals, vegan etc. http://www.nakedbodycare.co.uk/
For my hair I use Organix
I can't go without my lip balm (raw, organic and vegan) it is literally the best I have ever tried http://www.hurrawbalm.com/0 -

If you put lotion on first and then the balaclava you will have skin that is silky and smooth (in my Adam Sandler voice)0 -

It has definitely been worth it for me, I used to have terrible skin, now it is smooth, blemish free and glowing.
The lip balms...seriously gorgeous  I could eat them!0 -

have you tried Amazon? I have a few beauty products that can be a bit pricey but worth it when it comes to my sensitive skin so I always check amazon first... usually can find the same products there and at a cheaper price0 -

Lotion. I neglected my skin for years and gradually started using lotion.
First it was just on my face but now it is any body part exposed ( arms, legs, feet, neck)0 -
A really good haircut. I found a brilliant hairdresser in March and the new cut has made a world of difference to how i feel about myself.
I really like the topic of this post. I think that feeling good about yourself and hopeful when you look in the mirror is key to maintaining motivation to lose weight.

I've got all my mates on to Hurraw, I hope you like it.
Yeah, Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal, they still test on animals if a country deems it necessary (they sell to the Chinese market so they do still test).0 -
last time I wore make up was oct 2013, I shampoo my hair and that's it, sooooooooo I will say my workout!0

I love all the responses. Especially the sleep and sunscreen one. If I go outside I use sunscreen and I never sun bathe (obviously as my photo makes very obvious) and I go at least 3 days a week with no makeup on to allow my skin to breath.0
-
Neutrogena concentrated hand cream. Because I cycle and run outside a lot my hands get dry to the point of soreness, so I put some of this on and they feel lots better :-)0
-
SLEEP!! Make sure you get at least 7-8 hours per night0
-
Never going to sleep with make up on. My favorite eye make up remover is Cils demasq (Maybelline). It's the only one that suits my sensitive eyes.
For hair products I favor non parfumed ones. Wet hair spray is a must if you want to style your hair with heat (but also use heat protectant!). It's not very healthy for the hair, but if you want lasting curls for some special occasion.. deffinitely not for every day use though ^^0 -
Most important. Always wash your face. Even if you get in at 6am. Wash the crud off. And moisturize. I have been doing that since my teens and early 20s.
Drink a ton of water. I cut out all soda and other stuff like that. I drink one cup of coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day.
Antioxidants. Green tea and other awesome natural ways to get it.
I take a great multi-vitamin from Rainbow Light and it helps my skin.
I wash with Noxema!! lol It's cheap and it works!!
I found a moisturizer called Sanre. It's a little spendy but not like the super expensive stuff. Closer to drugstore prices. I love the eye candy eye cream and the sleeping beauty night cream.
Get plenty of sleep. Sleep regenerates everything!
And of course watch the sun. Being tan is a great thing but not if you look like a leather bag at 40! lol I embrace my pale complexion! :laugh:0 -
