I weigh daily when I get up in the mornings. I prefer the accountability and it helps me understand weight fluctuations better like the 1 or 2 pound gain after eating too much sodium.
^^^^This.....watching my daily weight helps me stay on track!0 -
Im going to weigh in at the end of each week. So far I have lost 60lbs, regained 20, hit a plateau and now Im getting back on track again.0

I weigh in every Friday I use to weigh in like three times a week but I don't anymore.0
-
every other day.. except for sundays... for some reason I'm always a lil heavier on Sundays...0

I weigh weekly as the daily fluctuations mess with my mind.
Haha, I weigh daily because the weekly fluctuations mess with my mind, lol. Seriously, weighing daily allows me to know the trend, if it's going in the right direction over the course of a few days I'm happy.0 -
I weigh myself whenever I can think of it. Sometimes, I weigh in everyday. Other times, I weigh in twice a week.
I weigh myself in the morning because it is convenient for me.0 -
I weigh every morning just before getting ready in the morning. I can't wait to get up to see if I have lost an ounce. It keeps me excited and engaged and holds me accountable. When I have gained or lost, I think about my actions before. The one thing I like about weighing each day is I am focused over weeks and months about all that is needed for me to accomplish successful goals. I love it when that scale moves. I throw my arms up with such a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment and say YES!!!.0

I weight in 2 times a day. In the morning and at night but only log my weight once a week. It really helps me.0

I think you have to do what works best for you. If you feel like weighing daily can help you get on track, by all means, do it. I actually weigh myself every 2 - 4 weeks. That allows me to take my focus away from the scale and put it on living a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, not looking at the scale so often allows me the ability to really appreciate the non-scale victories.0

I weigh in daily after getting rid of solids and wastes. I also follow the rules I set below:
I only log the losses, unless the plus keep coming and are more than temporary due to water retention.
I round up or down the decimals so i can see my progress in whole numbers. That way when I am actually down to the x.0 weight I know I have solidly reached another goal.
I feel more in control knowing where I am and am headed.0 -
I weigh in once a week on the same day.0

I weigh in once a week and it helps me to not dwell on what the scale says.0
-
Daily, in the am. Makes me stick to it a lot better.0
-
Once a week on Friday mornings0
-
Once every 2 or 3 weeks. I don't have a scale at home. I think it's for the best.0
-
I weigh in every Monday0
-
Officially I weigh in every Sunday morning. I occasionally get on the scale around Thursday tho.0
-
I weigh myself every day to notice trends/differences; but I only log my weight "for the record" on a Monday morning.0
-
Everyday I weigh myself but I don't log until it changes and stays that way for a week.0
-
every 4 weeks and always in the morning on an empty stomach0
-
Daily will drive you insane...I do it occasionally0

I weigh myself every morning, but I only record my weight about once a week. Flucuations are normal and expected, but I find that it keeps me focused on making healthy choices throughout the day.0

Weighing in daily is too frustrating for me. I can go up and down a whole pound in a day ... or several depending if I weigh in the evening or the morning. But if I weigh in once a week, the overall progress is more visible (IF there is progress being made).0

Once a week ... Monday mornings to account for the weekend "blunders" I may have ;-)0
-
My official weigh in is every friday but I sneak on the scale multiple times a week. I take my measurements every other week.(waist , chest, hips, etc)0
-
I actually weigh myself 2x a day - morning and night. But if I forget, it's no big deal.
I've found that weighing 2x a day keeps me mindful.
Me too! I think I have enough data points to write a book! But I only update my stats with the average... my weight will fluctuate 3 - 5 pounds in a day, if I updated my stats with every fluctuation, that would be taking my OCD's to another level! :-)0 -
I've only been at this for a week. I weighed myself everyday for the first four days, but I found that it was too discouraging not seeing results every day. I've decided to weigh in every Monday morning.0

I'm a daily weigher.. I feel it helps me stay on track...0

Daily - always first thing in the morning before I get dressed (worrying image :noway: )
The odd thing I find is that when I gain or lose weight, it always seems to be at least a pound at a time. Why do I always put on, or lose, over a pound?
Incidentally, I find if it does go up, it always does so on Monday morning. I think this is due to getting up - and staying up - much later at the weekend. So an early start on Monday morning for work means the Monday weighing is not entirely representative compared with other days.
Therefore I suggest people do not choose Monday if they only weigh once per week.0 -
I weigh in every week on Mondays. It gives me something to look forward too and I love the feeling of losing 2lbs at the week versus .2 or less a day. That is just me though.0
