Um, cranberries during the rest of the year after Thanksgiving. And Craisins don't count. That's practically candy.
I buy bags and bags of the fresh cranberries and store them in the freezer. Smoothies, oatmeal, etc.0 -
I am really fond of eating strawberries and even i store them in refrigerators so that i can consume them all over the year!0
-

Another vote for beets!0 -
If I'm being good - it has to be raw sugar snap peas - I could eat them by the bag load!0
-
Quark - soft cheese made from skim milk - love it, and it doesn't separate when you use it in hot stuff.
Beetroot - roasted or pickled.
Dutch Crispbakes - like melba toasts but round and fatter usually, typically 29-35 cals each & a nice crunch for breakfast or with soup.0 -

cherimoya0

Cashews. I don't eat a lot of them (10 or so a day), but they save me when I'm hungry.0
-
cherimoya
YUM! I only get good ones in Chile though.
And BEETS! And baked carrots.
Ryvita flatbread - with smoked salmon or roast beef or peanut butter or brie
Plain yogurt - with granola for breakfast or on ice cream as a topping
Plain, homemade kefir or buttermilk to drink when it's hot
Snap peas
Candied ginger
Agua de fresa

I had never heard of fiddleheads before yesterday - saw them on Food Network - Anna Olsen - and now you mention them too. Don't think I've ever come across them in the UK but they look intriguing.0 -
I like parsnips and I don't see a lot of people eating those, but I don't really look either.
I also like brussel sprouts, but that isn't too uncommon.
I like okra, but I don't get it often.
When small game is in season, I will often get some rabbit and squirrel.0 -
Red onions. Raw. On salads, on sandwiches... almost on their own! Even the smell of them. Even the action of cutting them... mmmm red onions for dinner this evening!0
-
I don't see a lot of love for sweet potatoes (not yams) here but I really love them.0

I love them too. Sliced, sprinkled with a tiny amount of sea salt and some red wine vinegar and left to macerate. Pink and tasty - one of my favourite ways to start and then dress a salad.0 -
PIZZA, PIZZA and more PIZZA!0

Good call. I love beets.
Also, this may not be what you are looking for, but fresh herbs, particularly basil, dill and parsley. You can chop up fresh herbs and add to anything (vegetables, pasta, fish) and increase the flavor by leaps and bounds.
Other favorites that I don't see a lot of are zucchini, tomatoes and fresh shrimp.0 -

They are currently in season...it's a short season usually 2-3 weeks depending on the weather.0 -
Ramps. I've never seen it in a diary, but it is in the database so somebody else is eating them. I love them and freeze some to eat year round.0
