My summer is about getting better. I not able to do cardio exercises or weights for the next couple of months + due to just having had spinal surgery, so this summer I'm looking forward to getting my back and feeling in my right leg back and being able to enjoy life as painlessly as possible.

I'm looking forward to starting grad school in a couple of weeks! The drawback would be that I won't be able to prepare my own food, or even measure what I eat. So it's all going to be trial and error now for quite some time; hopefully I've become good enough at estimating my portion sizes to keep from over/under-eating. I guess it'll depend on the amount of weight I end up losing in a week, and I can adjust my meals accordingly.

I work conferences off and on, I avoid known danger foods, and I bring my measuring scale to weight out a portion. I go on line, get an estamate of how many calories in an order, (example: chicken scallopini, and then I look up 1/2 cup garlic mushroom cream sause). I can get a ball park idea what I'm eatinf all the time and I have never gained. I have been able to keep losing.

I have an extra special motivation for reaching my weight loss goal for this month: a gorgeous Victorias Secret bikini! The picture is on my fridge. :D For Fun: Tell us 3 things that you're looking forward to this summer!

    Going to the lake
, swimming, tubing, having a blast with my family and friends and already feeling so much happier and confident. Many, many summer dinners and bocce with our friends! Going shopping! Getting a bronze! I am also looking forward to going for walks with my stroller everyday and working out and continuing to lose weight!

Slowly but surely...I've met me 5 pound goal two months in a row. I really wish it was coming off faster but at least it's coming off.

This summer I'm looking forward to:
    Camping
Actually swimming in my neighbor's pool instead of hiding on the deck because I don't want to wear a bathing suit
    The lake!

Good luck everyone! I have loved the support I've received (and given) since starting MFP a few months ago and get inspiration from hearing other people's stories :) Cheers to a great summer!

Best wishes to all my fellow participants. Let's keep each other going!

Thank you for creating this challenge. I have used MFP successfully in the past, but kept to myself. I've had a rough backslide and want to have support this time. I was down to 167 two years ago and have crept back up, although lately it's been full speed ahead. Time to put on the brakes and get this turned around. Also, I'd like to use more MFP tools to help me succeed. I CAN get myself over that inertia hump to keep moving and keep motivated.
