    When something has worked for you and someone on here posts about it and you give your adivce on what worked, then you get someone who is a know-it-all and says BS it didn't work for you and it can't work. Um..well, I lost 80 doing it this way so I don't know what to tell you. LOL!

    I have more courtesy to other couples that are trying to have a quiet evening. If I did take the kids out then we went to kids places, like play lands and ball pit areas.

    For a second I thought maybe you had a bad experience at the French Laundry or something. I'd be super pissed if I paid $300/person for dinner and there were bratty kids about. Then I saw your follow up about ball pits and play areas being an appropriate dinner venue for children. How do you expect kids to learn how to behave in nice restaurants if they never go to nice restaurants? Have you ever had a nice meal ruined by a belligerent adult who was practically shouting at the other people at his table, and laughing like a hyena? That guy probably only went to play lands and ball pit areas as a kid. Maybe you should just stay home?

    I know some very tough people from my MMA gym, professional fighters who could chew up and spit out regular big dudes without breaking a sweat. You know what they don't have to do? Try as hard as they can to make everyone think they are so tough. They know it and don't have to prove it.

    If you have to wear special clothes and be a **** to everyone to make sure they know you're a bad man/lady..... you aren't.

    Nothing irks me any more. I have too many friends with real tragedies to dwell on my little First World problems. Being 61 helps. Crap that seemed monumentally important when I was 35 doesn't even register a raised eyebrow at this point.
