Had my best half marathon this past Saturday: 1:55:41 (8:49 pace). Over 7 minutes better than my last one, and a full 6 minutes better than my previous best.5

I fit in an old rain coat and when I wore it today I found $28 dollars in the pocket. Wealthier and thinner all in one day.25

Buying a size 16 blouse instead of an 18/20
Wearing a tank top out in public for the first time in 5 years
SAME NSV. Wore my beater in Six flags on Friday.2 -
fit comfortably in my new size 11 pants for the first time!!! having someone who hasn't seen me in a while tell me "Dang woman - you're looking fine!!!" and having someone else ask me how I lost the weight and wanting more info so they can get healthy too...
44 lbs down - 6 more to go!4 -
Another NSV from yesterday. My mother-in-law brought out a box of Ding Dongs (my ABSOLUTE favorite!) and offered me one. I said no, quickly followed by, "I can't believe I just turned down a Ding Dong!" My husband said, "Are you okay? You never pass up Ding Dongs!"

Had friends over yesterday to watch some movies. They wanted to order pizza so I had some and it didn't taste nearly as good as I remember. Even the soda tasted kind of bleh to me.7

The straps keep falling down on two of my shirts with tank top type sleeves.
Totally baffling because my weight hasn't really budged. It varies 3-5 pounds gained or lost but that's it.4 -
I flew on a plane and did not have to ask for a seatbelt extender 2 weeks agoPlaced first at a local 5K run.2
-

-
I'm doing the C25K and today was 3 min jog followed by 3x5 min jog. I could never imagine I would ever be able to jog 5 minutes and I did it 3 times tonight! I'm so excited about the progress I've made! On the road to where I want to be!9
-
Two totally astonished people, on the same day, told me that I looked like I was in my early 40s instead of my real age of 51! HA! I`ve still got it! **Snicker**6
-
I just managed to take my trousers off without unfastening them. Size smaller, here I come!6
-
This morning I wanted to wear a skirt that I haven't worn in the past 2 months. I pulled it on and as I stepped forward, it fell off my hips! My 6 year old daughter burst out laughing.11

My daughter gave me her work clothes because they now fit me perfectly! (from a size 20 to a size 12!)7

There have been many NSVs over the past 3 months of being back:
1. I have to get a new belt today - or get a nail and hammer to put another hole in the one I got (buying two new ones)
2. I rode 41 miles on my bike Friday - never thought I would make it that far so quickly (only been riding shy of two months)
3. I have to get new pants - legs and bottoms are too baggy and waist is too bunched up
4. I can see my feet without bending forward a tad
5. People keep complementing me and asking how much have I lost (no one recognized the first ten but they have definitely recognized the last 12)
6. I can bend over and tie my shoes without being short of breath
7. My life is sleeping better at now since my snoring is GONE (I still don't sleep well due to sleep insomnia - cat naps)
Life is so grand when it is not dependent on the scale alone.2 -
My hormones I feel them changing. I had lots of fat on me for so long my body got used to it. Wen you drop fat you drop levels of estrogen too. Now testosterone is taking over.7
-
Thanks! Amazingly I feel like I could do it again next week!!1
-
NSV this week : Went to try on some clothes that a few months ago didn't fit or weren't flattering.
Tried on a white dress at Macy's that is belted. - Back in Late April/Early May the belt wouldn't even meet ends..now it fits on the third hole and fits amazing. Also down to a size 22 in some jean sizes !
Here is the dress that wouldn't fit back in April/May

Jogged one mile without stopping yesterday on the tail end of the 5k I do 3x a week. I've been doing c25k for a while and it is clearly helping me reach goals I never imagined I'd reach. First official 5k is scheduled next month on the 26th!3

I had a hard time today getting out of bed, was extremely sore from the weekend and from Monday's workout...as hard as it was I went to the trainer and I worked hard... not a big NSV but if you knew how I was feeling, it was a big thing for me!!7
-
As of today my BMI is now officially within the normal, it's been a long time coming and I'm very pleased.7

I was able to wrap the bath towel all the way around myself for the first time in years! That is the first thing I have noticed since starting my journey...even my clothes aren't much looser. I am very pleased!9
-
Awesome! That's a goal I'm hoping to hit soon0
-
I went to the gym after work and on the way to the work out area from the change rooms, there's a bunch of mirrors at the gym I go to. So anyways, I was checking myself out . . . like I always do, and so does everyone else lol . . . and I notice that my little roll that usually hangs out the top of my sports bra in the back is no longer there!!! My bra and my work out top were completely flat against my skin and I didn't have anything hanging out over top of my bra behind my arm . . . .
I don't know if anyone knows what I am talking about . . . . but I do, and I am on cloud 9 about it right now16
