I have a few from the last month
1 I have collar bones they had been covered in fat for so long I forgot they where there
2 Slowly starting to see definition in my arms
3 Got a PB at the gym today I managed 20kg on the shoulder press 3 months ago I couldn't even put weights on it!!6 -
I had a hard time today getting out of bed, was extremely sore from the weekend and from Monday's workout...as hard as it was I went to the trainer and I worked hard... not a big NSV but if you knew how I was feeling, it was a big thing for me!!7
-
As of today my BMI is now officially within the normal, it's been a long time coming and I'm very pleased.7
-
My newest NSV is that my knees no longer hurt when I exercise and I can wear daily my ring from high school for the first time in over 9 years.5
-
No more blood pressure medication for me. And I went to the movies with my daughter and grandson and only had a diet coke. Nothing else. Now for me that was a miracle. :happy:5

My sweatpants are falling off5
-
I was able to wrap the bath towel all the way around myself for the first time in years! That is the first thing I have noticed since starting my journey...even my clothes aren't much looser. I am very pleased!9

Awesome! That's a goal I'm hoping to hit soon0

I went to the gym after work and on the way to the work out area from the change rooms, there's a bunch of mirrors at the gym I go to. So anyways, I was checking myself out . . . like I always do, and so does everyone else lol . . . and I notice that my little roll that usually hangs out the top of my sports bra in the back is no longer there!!! My bra and my work out top were completely flat against my skin and I didn't have anything hanging out over top of my bra behind my arm . . . .
I don't know if anyone knows what I am talking about . . . . but I do, and I am on cloud 9 about it right now16 -
I sit down on my husband's lap and he said "Ouch, you have a boney butt!". A lot less fat there cushioning things!
I also added another quarter mile to my run this week and am steadily getting faster.6 -

Oh, yes, I know exactly what you are talking about! I check that part of my body out often , waiting for that little roll to go away!3 -
My hip pain is gone, and I can lift my left leg into the car now without having to lift my leg up with my hands! And last night, I went to the gym for the first time in like 5 weeks and did the elliptical for 25 minutes. And my "fat" jeans are getting looser.6

Everyone's doing so well!
I love this thread. Little victories are so uplifting.5 -
I've had several as well:
1) All my co-workers have noticed my weight loss. I've received several compliments!
2) My collar bone has never looked so good! LOl
3) I no longer XL or XXL tops and I'm now in 14/16 jeans and 12 in tops/dresses - down from a size 20 pants at my biggest.
4) For years I have only been shopping at Lane Bryant. Their clothes are now too big!!
5) My wardrobe, especially for work, has shrunk quite a bit. I'm down to only 5 pair of pants for work and all require use of a belt - a belt that I had to add another hole to!!
6) I actually like wearing dresses now.
7) Just being able to type this feels amazing!! 40 lbs to go!
And congrats to everyone!!8 -
Went to get new pants, and fit in size 4 jeans! I've been altering stuff down (started at 14)... had no idea!5

In September of 2010 my blood pressure was 180/120. It has steadily gone down and a few days ago, it was 119/61.5

Other recent NSVs:
- Being able to get clothes from regular stores rather than big & tall stores. When I first started my weight loss journey, I started out as a size 58 in pants and I am now down to 50. I also recently got some athletic shorts in size XL. I haven't been able to get shorts or sweatpants in XL in years.
- Back in May, my wife and I took part in a one-mile fun run as part of a charity fundraiser. Last year, I walked the entire mile but this year I was able to run almost half of the run.
- Recently I have been getting some positive feedback from friends, family and co-workers. It feels really good to have other people notice the weight loss (about 70 pounds, I started at 398 and I am down to 327).
- Earlier this month while on vacation, I was able to do a lot of hiking, walking and was able to even able to run a little bit.8 -
I went shopping and didn't have to buy anything from the "big lady" sections.9
-
25 plank to pushups in a row without stopping!!! whoot whoot!!7
