    Michaels is much nicer.

The Michael's around here is overpriced and usually don't have what I need... ;)

I prefer AC Moore... they always have out 50% off coupons.

I don't think we have an AC Moore... at least not that I know of... Around here for hobbies it's Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Joann Fabrics and Hobby Town USA... I'm sure there are more but those are just the ones that I frequent and are in the 15 minute driving range I have in our area.

Actually, I'm pretty sure most A&M grads couldn't have done better...

I know who miss mobilehoma represents, but how about you?

I'm a total hobby snob. I buy all my craft supplies off Ebay or Etsy from international sources. No way am I stepping into these stores with the riffraff. Next thing, I'll be *shudder* buying groceries at Walmart and Aldi.

Between Aldi and Walmart, I'm not sure which is "worse" to claim for buying groceries...

I have come to love Aldi I can seriously buy so much food for less than $100... Walmart is a hell to the no...

Aldi has a unique clientele in my area. Not as hip as Trader Joes or as smug as Whole Foods though.

 A tiny private women's college in Virginia, but I spent my elementary school years in Norman before moving to that larger southern state.

Ok, I'll give you that... Because that's pretty much the reason I don't go into Walmart... Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and Sprouts are all farther than I care to drive. The Aldi's I go to isn't all bad... and then I supplement with Tom Thumb (a Safeway... or now Albertson's **vomit** brand).

Albertsons is the Walgreens with produce though...NOBODY shops there, so it was never crowded. At least in College Station. You could go to HEB at 3 AM there and it would STILL be packed...Walmart is always a freeforall.

We haven't been graced with an HEB yet... They have bought land all over the place around here... but the closest one is 30 minutes away.... But yeah, the Albertson's here sucks as well.. they will have whole sections of empy shelves... and few people shop there... why would they, when everything is 50% higher there than at even Tom Thumb (which is supposed to be the most expensive store)... then you get the lady with million monopoly coupons...

They're still going to cover Viagra though right? Because that makes sense.
