I was off running all June due to a knee injury back in May, but should be good to run next week (doing PT now). So I will be cautiously optimistic and choose a goal of 25 miles.0

This cold, or whatever it is I have, is kicking my butt. I started feeling funky on Sunday afternoon, but ran on Monday morning thinking I could run it off. Tuesday and Wednesday I could barely get out of bed - thank God that (a) my kids are older and don't need me to be with them all the time and (b) I work from home and (c) my boss is on vacation so I have a light work week. Yesterday afternoon I figured if I was going to get up (had to take my kids to church) I might as well do something - so took a 60-minute swim. Running is out of the question right now - just walking up stairs makes me start coughing. Perhaps if I take it easy today I can try running tomorrow...0
