7/4 - unplanned rest day after tweaking my ankle in the first 5 minutes of a run.
7/5 - another unplanned rest day - still nursing a sore ankle
7/6 - ankle feels WAAAY better, 3.9 miles
7/7 - will probably skip the run again
7/8 - plan to run, so my next update should come on Tuesday.

I still have not figured out the ticker thing so I will just post here. I have gone for 3 runs this past week. Each one short but sweet. Total so far is about 7 miles in July. I am signed up for 2 5k's right now. Distance is not the goal this year. ..it is to run a 10 min. Mile pace. I know that sounds lame to most of you but I have never been able to do that. Even running a marathon I had a 12 min mile pace. Average 5mph.. I may be slow but I cross the finish line....now its time for this old lady to pick up speed. Any suggestions?

i'm upping my miles to 90. Hopefully the rains will hold off to the afternoons and I can get some miles in the morning...as long as I peel my bum out of bed.

    2 July - 6.22
    3 July - 3.5
    5 July - 9.2

Whooo! I'm chugging along. I just got a fitbit, but I'm not going to count the distance I walk in my normal day. Only what I'm putting in at the gym or on the track.
