My July goal is 200 miles which I will mostly be doing the last half of the month.0 -
There are many ways. Most of us that are really into biking have cyclometers on our bikes. Or you can bring your smart phone with you and run an app like strava (the one I use - there are many others) which tracks your distance and speed along with many other stats. Or you can just figure out how far your loop is (drive it with a car), time your ride with your watch and with a calculator figure out your average speed.How are you measuring your distance and speed? :ohwell:0

Once again I'm in late. Goal this month is 600 miles, MTD as of yesterday is 199 miles. Saturday (12th) have a double century planned; STP with a group of friends and friends relatives. After that I plan to go back to -2 pounds a week goal plus serious training for the soon to be here CX season.0

Well I got my bike fixed....somewhat. I replaced the tube and threw on a half worn MTB tire and was all set but I have some slight rubbing from the caliper pads rubbing on the disc. I lessened it some but it's still there. I'll probably have to take it in which I hate to do but it's annoying.

7/3 - 1.5 miles at 8.9mph.
7/5 - 2.6 miles at 9.9mph.
7/7 - 0.8 miles slowly.
7/9 - 3.0 miles at 10.2mph listening to Cheap Trick on the Walkman (external speakers - not earbuds).
MTD = 7.9 miles.
Goal = 30 miles.
