Back on the MFP bandwagon after a very long time. Last time MFP helped me lose 20 lbs, but I've gained it all back on and more. I'm up to my heaviest weight ever of 190 lbs and am hoping that I can buckle down and get back on track. I've had quite a few false starts but with any luck and some encouragement I can keep on it.0

I started my Diet in May, and wasn't doing that great. It wasn't until last month I found MFP and now I'm doing great!
My first goal was to just "try" to loose 25 lbs. DONE! thanks to this MFP APP, I LOVE IT!!!
Currently weighing in at 218 lbs., my next goal is to weigh 196lbs by August 25th
Would love to get support, as well as give it. I really need some help with workouts and food ideas, I'm open to all input.
Oh ya.... I have a great sense of humor!

Hello, all! 25 year old from Missouri here, looking to drop about 60 lbs. I usually log everyday and I love good food (no low-fat cheese here. I respect real cheese too much) and the occasional (using that term loosely) vodka or beer. I also love parenteses, apparently.

Hi all,
Been on here for 4 weeks now and am down 11 pounds with anywhere from 45 to 65 to go. As an old guy (50 seems to be old on here anyway), I'm a long way from being the fit, agile young man I never was, but always imagined I might be.
Looking for friends to check up on me, yell at me if required, or spoonfeed me peanut butter if I've passed from actually doing some exercise.
My dairy is open to friends, and I do log every day.
PS - to the lady on this thread a page or two ago who loved bacon and ice cream. Is that blended together or do you just chop the bacon up and sprinkle it over the top? :flowerforyou:0 -

Hi everyone,
So i've been signed up for quite some time, but i kinda just half assed it up till now. I've been yoyoing a lot so i decided to just start from scratch as of this week.
Im 19, 5'5 and about 20lbs over weight, its not that bad, but i feel like i would be more comfortable at 30lbs lighter, maybe a little more even.
I feel so alone with this, since my sister already lost 50lbs, and my mum and dad have kinda stopped trying. I just need motivation, and support, and i can do the same! so add me up, i dont bite!

Hello! I've done this a few times now. I always seem to start and give up. This time my husband is on board too, I'm going to be logging consistently, and I hope I'll gain a friends list full of people to motivate me (and to help motivate them back).
I'm 5'3". I weigh around 220lbs, probably. My scale is packed away at the moment, so I'm guessing. My goal weight for now is 150lbs, so 75-80lbs loss. I've lost 40lbs before, but I was practically starving myself and working a fairly active job. I gained it all back when I had my son, and haven't been able to lose that "baby weight". That was 2 years ago.

I'm 5'5 and 151 lbs. I gained a lot of weight during nursing school and I use to love to drink when partying and the extra weight is a result of that. I finally decided to not diet, but to live a healthier life. My weight loss journey is taking a while so I need the motivation and I hope to help motivate as well.0
