    i have not done ANY of the jillian michaels workout vids i've been wanting to do so STARTING TODAY i will do the jillian michaels cardio kickbox...NEVER done it before so i will try it out

    I just bought 3 of her DVD's (30 day shred, 6 week 6 pack, Banish fat boost metabolism) because I've been reading on here how great they are!! I'm kind of scared to start because I've also read how difficult they are :ohwell:

    I would love to join for January but I am doing another challenge. If you are doing a February JM Challenge I would love to join. I'll just substitue my Zumba for Jillian :laugh: Would prefer to start fresh on a new month though.

    Level 1 and 2 of shred done yesterday. Going to get another good workout done this evening once little one in bed, then prepare a nice healthy casserole for tomorrow. All the junk I've been stress eatting this week can't be doing me much good.

    Did BFBM on Thursday and today. The best thing about being in the challenge is it gets me to keep working out and I find I have built somewhat of a tolerance to Jillian's TOUGH workouts. My endurance has definitely improved and the shopping bags aren't as heavy anymore :happy: This is amazing, 2 weeks and I feel the difference already.

    I haven't done her Cardio Kickbox video. Maybe I can rent from the library and see if it is any good.

    Oh, I Overslept today! So sore and feel I could use the rest day but hate to miss a day on this challenge. Have done a JM video every weekday since Jan 3! Well maybe I can workout when I het home from work. (that never happens, that why I workout at 5am, otherwise it doesn't happen... then again we NEVER oversleep either, can't remember the last time!) Have great day everyone!

    Did circuit 6 & 7 of boost burn then level 2 of shred.40 minutes, 430 calories burned.

    Hhheeeeeeeeeeeyyyy yooooouuuu guuuuuuuuuys! Where is everyone? I did no more trouble zones Friday, today is my walk day (3.3 miles in 54 minutes) tomorrow us my rest day, then back to 5 days ... missed one weekday so far since the 3rd, would sure like someone to check in with! Who's still trying to do this??

    I feel bad for starting this challenge and not posting much for the last couple of weeks, I can only appologise. I've had a pretty horrible January, and I've failed to keep up with you all. I did however promise to post start and end stats.

    These are the original taken on 28/12/10

    Weight 156.28lbs (11st.2.8lbs)
    body fat (by my scale) 25.0 %
    Water 54 %
    muscle mass 37.7%

    measurements in inches:
    under bust 32
    waist 30
    Tummy 34.75
    Hips 37.5
    Arm L 12 R12.5
    Thigh L 23 R23.5

    Today


    Weight 156.22lbs (11st.2.2lbs) only 0.6 of a lb lost :(
    body fat (by my scale) 24.8.0 % - 0.2% loss
    Water 54.1
    muscle mass 37.8% - 0.1% gain

    measurements in inches:
    under bust 32.75 - muscle gain????
    waist 29.5 - Yay 0.5 of an inch less!
    Tummy 34.5 - 0.25 less
    Hips 36 - 1.5inches less WOOHOO!
    Arm L 11.5 R12.5 - 0.5 inch loss
    Thigh L 22.5 R23 - 1 inch loss!

    Quite frankly I've eaten badly because of stress and not exercised as much as I'd wanted to, so I'm absolutely delighted with a combined loss of 3 inches! And my back is looking a lot leaner. I bought a top before christmas that looked nice from the front, but after trying it on at home I saw that I had buldges in the back that wern't attractive, so I never wore it. I tried it on yesterday and those lumps and bumps have now gone! Heres hoping that in Febuary I'll drop a couple of lbs too.

    Waist was 42 now 39 1/2
    Belly was 52 now 49 1/2
    Thighs 26 now 25 1/2
    Biceps 14 now 13 3/4 (firmer, yay!)
    Under bust 38 now 37 3/4
    Wow, that's 6.25 inches!

    Wow, Clrflowers, nice job!!! :flowerforyou: :drinker: I haven't been 100% consistent with JM, but I'm still working out. I'll try to take measurements tonight.
