Bump. We always have a ton of squash in summer and I like the idea of disguising some of it as pizza.0

I'm always looking for bread/crust replacement to reduce carb intake on rest days, so the idea of zucchini crust is great for my diet.. Im going to give this a go, many thanks0

This sounds good.
I'm thinking of it like a savory Zucchini bread base for pizza. sometimes I want pizza with veggies but I'm not in the mood for how they slide off the top. This means it can stay easy to eat and still leave all that room on top for the pepperoni.0 -
I can deal with the zucchini crust...the lack of cheese is freaking me out, though.0

I'm definitely going to try this. I've tried cauliflower pizza crusts, but they could never get cripsy, so it wasn't pleasant.
And thin crust pizza is my favorite top, because I like tasting the tomato and topings more than the crust.0 -

Wait, are we not allowed to put cheese on top?
I also thought there was cheese in the zuchinni crust batter. I though this was a double cheese situation.0 -

Have you tried summer squash pizza crust? You don't even have to turn it into pizza. We often eat it right out of the oven like cheesy bread.

YUMMM, I wonder if I juice the squash first and use the pulp if that would make it crispier.0 -

This is too awesome to not be front & center ALL the time.
Edit: Bummer. Cannot figure out posting a pic.0 -
Bump! Sounds great. I generally avoid flour, but it's a small amount. Wheat and I can barely tolerate each other. Might try an alternative flour. If I do, I'll try to remember to let everyone know how it turns out.0

Okay, made this the other night. Amazeballs! The recipe I followed was a bit time consuming, but it turned out great. I will be making it again, especially with all the giant zucchini coming out of our garden right now.0
