How many infusions do you have and how many to go?
I had four infusions (3 weeks apart) of Adriamycin/Cytoxan. I just had the first of 12 weekly infusions of Taxol, so that should take me through the first half of October. After that (and I assume some rest period) I have 5-6 weeks of radiation and then probably 10 years of hormone-suppressing drug (probably Arimidex), since my type of cancer is positive for hormone receptors.
So far, so good!:drinker:

I'm lucky in that I work from home on flex time. I'm also a caregiver and have been for 12+ years because my partner has MS (we go to an MS support group, too). What I've learned as a caregiver (especially re research and advocacy) has helped me as a cancer patient, and having cancer has given me better insights into caregiving. Interesting how that happens.
I wish your friend all the best!0
