What music do you listen to whilst working out?

Options
Hey all :)

Hope you're all having a good day. Just keen to see what music you all listen to whilst working out and if it differs to what you normally listen too. Could do with some new music/album to listen to whilst working out.

I listen to house/electro usually and whilst working out so it's usually the same.

What about you guys?

One gym I go to usually plays 1960s and 1970s radio station. The other gym doesn't have any music. I don't have an MP3 player or anything like that. At home I listen to all sorts of different music.

I mostly listen to deep house and a lot trap the dirtier the better. I love to do my intervals on the drops! That being said, I can deal with almost anything as long as it has a quick enough beat to keep me going hard. For the past few weeks I've been getting down on this new Spotify playlist: http://open.spotify.com/user/omarpena5/playlist/0uMsU3MeBJWi7x17ODPdGx

Usually I listen to a bunch of pop with a good beat. Lately I've been listening to the Welcome to Night Vale podcast, though--it's just enough of a distraction to help me push through those moments I want to quit.

Any of my favourite Bocelli/Pavarotti Albums are numbers I enjoy on my last lap. It's either I programme it in, or I'll be belting it out as I run, and embarrass the heck out of my sister[training partner] lol

That might well be the most motivational music it's possible to listen to while working out! Great choice...

I listen to various 'urban' music while I'm working out. The boxing club I go to plays really loud dance music which is also great to work out to, although i can't stand it at any other time

Since I've started working out in '83, it's been whatever's been on the radio. I'm probably one of the rare people that don't use any listening device of any kind when working out. Even when doing cardio.

Sometimes I listen to whatever they play, other times, songs I got on iTunes - mostly 80s songs that were re-mixed for workouts. I have a few hipper songs, too.

    A symphony of sweat.

    Moaning, grunting, pain.
The sound of sweat, iron and bodies falling to the ground.
    The true sound of growth.

    Either rock or electronic music.

When I work with weights, I usually go for heavy music : metal or dirty dubstep.
When I do cardio (running, biking...) I usually go for faster paced music : techno, pop, punk.
