I put the following in my bullet blender, 1 cup frozen fruit, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1 Tbls oat bran, 1/4 cup fat free greek yogurt, honey to ur taste, then fill the remaining space with coconut water, yummy no matter what fruit I use.

Mix your fruits up to find the combinations you like best, my favorites are raspberry banana, blueberry peach, strawberry

sometimes I will use some fresh orange juice instead of the coconut water

I'm not going to claim mine is the healthiest of smoothies but my default is:

    1/4 cup frozen strawberries
    1/4 cup frozen blueberries
    1/4 cup frozen raspberries
    1/4 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup plain 0% fat greek yogurt
    1/4 cup low fat milk
1/2-3/4 cup (as much as needed to make it sippable) orange juice<-the low sugar calcium kind.

This is my go to smoothie as of late, and you really cannot taste the spinach at all!

    3 cups of fresh spinach
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
    1 cup water
1 frozen banana or 6 oz frozen fruit( or you could do a combo!)
    1 packet of stevia

These all sound so good! I have had good luck with freezing avocados and adding to my smoothies. I just peel, seed and put the halves in a ziplock in a layer. They freeze really well and a half an avocado makes a really creamy addition to any smoothy, and you don't need ice. Even if you don't like avocados, you will never know it's there.

I'm sure most people would think this is gross, but I love it. The fiber in the sweet potato and beet with the cocoa powder reminds me of a think milk shake.

Chocolate beet smoothie: makes about 32 oz.

    Blend in turbo blender:

    1/4 raw beet
    1/4 raw sweet potato
    1 frozen banana
    1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp instant coffee powder, or a shot of espresso
A few dashes of cinnamon and of pumpkin pie spice mix
    1/2 cup almond milk
    Water
    Handful of ice

A lot of these smoothies sound great but have protein powder in. Would they be the same if I swapped this for some oats in instead?

My friend has said to use oats instead of wasting money on protein powders? (never used protein smoothies before ad want to ramp up my energy & weight loss)

The cantaloupe + shredded beet + peeled, deseeded cucumber + yogurt + ground flaxseed smoothie this morning was pretty good -- better than it might sound. Flourescent pink as well. The color of those pink highlighters, actually.

i recently was given a magic bullet and i've been a smoothie frenzy. (nevermind the normal blender that's been sitting in the cabinet forever... lol). my favorites right now, as i've been having chocolate cravings...

1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk
    1 or 2 Tbsp. chocolate PB2
handful of frozen strawberries (or blueberries, or raspberries... or a mix of all)

otherwise, i just blend a bunch of random fruits, either with orange juice or regular almond milk. i like to throw some flax seeds in for the fiber.

i bought a bunch of fruit at the flea market the other day (mostly berries and bananas) and got a bunch of ziplock bags and filled them with portions of what i'd put in my smoothies... that way i can just grab a bag in the morning, and throw it in the bullet. easy and delicious.
