I definitely fell off the bandwagon this weekend :grumble:
Party friday night, along with a big basket of fries tonight is no bueno. But, I am vowing to put in an extra workout for it.

hello my name is Kym. I slowly have watched my weight creep up for the last few years. I am refusing to go up to the next size and so since I will be 50 this year my goal is 50 pounds by the time I turn 50. If anyone is in the same boat I work 1800 hours to 0600 hours and work different days a week. so one week I work everyday and only have 2 days off and then the next work only 2 days. the hardest thing for me is on my first or last day of work. i am up normally for about 24 hours and trying to not eat when it is 3 oclock in the morning and I am dead tired and I am a 911 dispatcher so yes I sit on my big old butt alot.. anyone that can give me some tips to help would be greatly appreicated..0

To cut back on having all these charts and to cut back on the confusion of having so many, it would be best if everyone sent me their stats by e-mailing me. Then we will have to look for one chart only.
I need for each of you to submit your stats in a timely manner by midnight on Saturday. All those who do not submit their stats will be listed as losing "0" weight. If you don't lose, it is not the end of the world. No one is here to judge that you did or did not lose weight. We just want to be accountable and considerate of other members who post their stats on time, whether they want to or not .
If a new member joins in the middle of the week or even the day before weigh-in, please put in your current weight and your measurements can be updated within 3 days/72 Hours of joining.
If this is too demanding of you, I am sorry but the group is growing and I want everybody to have a fair chance of working towards their goal...to lose the weight. CAN WE JUST PLEASE, BE ON THE SAME PAGE.

WOW so so motivating to have so many beautiful people some together to support each other!!! I am 27 years old and have been battling with my weight since I was in middle school and now that I have a true understanding of how important it is to be healthy both inside and out I have a whole new take on dieting and exercising. I have lost 60 pounds up til today but am still struggling with my last 15 pounds and need some waking up from people who are just starting or whom are in the middle of their weight loss journey..I feel I can find new motivation and tips and just kind words. I am currently on Hydroxycut for women and I have found it to give me the energy and diet suppression I need to not over eat and to get my a&* out of bed in the morning. For me the working out has been the key to the weight loss and of course I cut out soda and fried foods, I still eat a lot I just try to eat more "CLEAN" which means I try to stay away from processed food, and for me thats whats working, except I need a little boost of motivation to get back on the saddle and finally make my goal a reality..For all the women and men that feel they are stuck in their bodies and their unhealthy ways please let me tell you it can all be changed. I AM LIVING PROOF, I WAS THE MOST UNHEALTHY UNMOTIVATED PERSON EVER AND NOT TO MENTION LAZY, but as I started and saw results i was quickly pulled out of bed and into this new healthy way of living..!!! I AM ALWAYS PRAYING FOR PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF AND I PRAY THAT GOD GIVES US ALL THE STRENGTH TO REALIZE HOW LUCKY AND BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE CHANCE TO CHANGE OUR LIVES AND BECOME BETTER MOMS, SISTER, DAUGHTERS AND FRIENDS, I hope we all continue to find motivation and strength in eachother.

Just e-mail me your current body measurements. Every Saturday before midnight, e-mail me your new weight. NEW body measurements are posed on the 1st of every month.
You will probably be hearing from the girls and guys later on, welcoming you. You have come to the right place to get the motivation and encouragement you need. Have a great weekend...what's left of it anyway If you don't have a ticker tape, you can find it in your HOME under "Tools."

If it has word "heavy Syrup"....you don't want it.
Can Fruits (loaded with sugar/Heavy Syrup)..............................................Get a pear, Small Apple, 10 grapes
and cut it up and enjoy!
Fried Foods.......................................................................................................Fresh Veggies
If you like rice, bread and sugar.................................................................... Cut down to 1/4 cup rice, 2 slices bread
and cut 1T of sugar from everything you
use it in until you can wean yourself off of it.
Eat healthy rice with fiber. Always read labels to see how much FIBER is in the food. The more fiber, the better. Instead of eating white spaghetti, eat whole wheat spaghetti.
Instead of scooping food................................................................................ Use measuring cups until you can do it with
the naked eye.
Instead of eating out buy fresh cuts of meats and weigh 3-3.5 oz ........................Learn to eat smaller portions.
Season it yourself and put them in freezer bags so they are there when you need them.
Ask yourself, what on this list can I start doing?
Remember, PLAN, PLAN, PLAN...................................................................Always try to plan out your day and be in control of
what you can (things that go into your mouth).
ALWAYS EAT BEFORE GOING FOOD SHOPPING/MALL. When shopping, STAY ON THE OUTSIDE AISLE ONLY. JUNK FOODS ARE IN THE INSIDE ISLES.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep a big bowl of fresh salad in the refrigerator, that you can always go to in a pinch. One and half cups of salad with your dinner, of 3-3.5 oz of meat, and 2 veggies (1/2cup each) and 1 fruit/cup Unsweetened Jello, and a tall glass of water is just an example of how you should be eating. Trick: put the salad on the plate with the rest of the food to fill the plate up and make it look colorful. Be midful of the salad dressing you use. In fact, make your own with the packet of salad seasoning and vinegar and water. If you use commercial dressing stay away from the sweet ones like FRENCH, RUSSIAN. ALWAYS MEASURE SALAD DRESSING IN A MEASURING SPOON. Make it a habit of reading all labels to find out what a SERVING consist of.
Remember, when you don't feel like eating meat, that "Beans" is another source of protein. Have baked fresh fish 2-3x a week. Experiment with seafood, get some cooking wine and act like you are a chef. Set your table up like a very expensive restaurant would (hardly no food on the plate - smile).
You can do this and you will conquer the thought of FOOD.....
When sitting down to eat, make your plate look pretty
Log everything you eat on Myfitnesspals.com 24 hours in advance so you will know how you are going to handle your day.
Try to stay within your caloric intake. Start walking 15-20 in any direction and back home. After awhile, you will find that you can walk a little further. Remember 20 city blocks is equal to 1 mile.
Last, try to make your last meal/snack no later than 8PM

If you don't lose, it is not the end of the world. No one is here to judge that you did or did not lose weight. We just want to be accountable and considerate of other members who post their stats on time, whether they want to or not .
If a new member joins in the middle of the week or even the day before weigh-in, please put in your current weight and your measurements can be updated within 3 days/72 Hours of joining.
If this is too demanding of you, I am sorry but the group is growing and I want everybody to have a fair chance of working towards their goal...to lose the weight. CAN WE JUST PLEASE, BE ON THE SAME PAGE.

Great list!! I found cutting back on coffee and drinking tea in an actual tea cup is helping instead of huge mugs etc, I have replaced sugar with splenda until I wean off sugar completely! I am also making myself aware of portion sizes etc and eating good foods which shockingly make me feel full longer (who would have thought haha)
Anyhow one issue I have run into was yesterday for example I ate good stuck with my meal plan but due to exercising gained extra calories but by the end of the day I still was needing to eat almost 700 calories?? Any suggestions?
I am hoping to start my jillian DVD tonight, 30 minute Shred hoping to see a loss next week!!

I didn't lose any weight this week... to be honest i fell off the wagon. I had friends over that I haven't seen and made lasagna and she brought some Italian cake. OMG - I felt like i was gaining weight just looking at it.
On a better note - The neighbor (at work) and I have set up a small gym in the basement. We have a stair stepper, ab pro circle, weights, exercise ball and I think a bow flex (not sure if that's the name but it has a total workout on it) SO... my goal this week is to go down there for 45 minutes at lunch time, hit the treadmill when I get home for 30 minutes and some how get the shred video or Jillians new ab video in there. I want to mix it up a little... we also got the Wii fit - but i haven't tried it yet....
