I'm so excited about this! I used to use Calorie Count's app and switched over to MFP because I liked the logging system better and because all my friends had switched over to here. But this is the one thing I missed about being over there - the challenges and being in a group where you get to know the people you are losing weight with, etc etc. I'm so happy that there is something like that here too!
That being said, I just started to count calories again a few days ago and have been doing well so far but I haven't been brave enough to step on the scale yet so I have no idea what I'm at yet. But I did weigh myself 1-2 weeks ago and was at 201. 202 is my heaviest from a week or so before that. Aaaanywho~ I look forward to getting to know you all, feel free to add me! I will be weighing in Saturday to see where I am, and my goal for the end of September is just to be under 200 at all! Starting small, but I'm here for the long run!0 -

Someone posted bout wanting to lose for upcoming vaca & not wanting to look back at Fat Photos for years to come.
I really enjoyed reading that comment!! I came back to MFP on 8/1 cuz I've gained 25lbs since leaving 11/2013.
Going on vaca this month & wanted to enjoy it more by feeling/looking better.

I've noticed lately I seem to be eating and exercising to maintain, but not to lose. So it's time to get it back in gear on the losing end. I'm definitely not where I need to be yet so this is not time to get comfortable! I was doing really great with my 5 a month goal but I've missed it the last couple of months. Time to get the motivation in high gear to get the rest of it off!

I'm in! Good luck to everybody. This month will be a challenge as I have a vacation scheduled and it will be difficult to keep the eating to a minimum. I'm close to goal---and I need to shed these last few pounds as my weight impacts my cholesterol----right now it will be too high---the lab slip is beginning to yell at me! Reporting every week is definitely helping me stay on track.
