OMG I do NOT feel good, more like death knocking!! But I MADE myself complete my weightlifting schedule from ChaLean Xtreme AND I walked 1 fifteen minute mile and was toast!!! This is a wicked flu, lets you feel pretty good then it sucker punches ya! Nasty cheater but I am fighting it!!!!!
Good job EVERYBODY!!! We can do this!!!! I set my goal for only 60 miles cuz I new with all the Turbo Fire and ChaLean X that it would be tough to wedge in miles like I did in the Dec. challenge!! But anyway sick or not I WILL hit that goal!!!0 -
First of all, vhuber: I hope you feel better very soon! I really admire how you persevere and workout even though you're sick!
Okay, update to me: 4 more miles on the treadmill for me today.

Even if we all stopped moving today - which doesn't seem likely - it would still be a successful challenge with over 1,500 miles logged. There's a good chance that about 20 of us will reach our goals the way toots99 already did. :drinker: .
My new year resolution was/is to move 2011 miles, so I'm going to keep logging my miles for the next months anyway. Now, if there's going to be a February MYA Challenge I'll be glad to join. I can also keep keeping track of the miles if you want me to.0 -

I was too tired to post last night after I got home from the gym, but I updated my ticker with my 4.3 miles on the TM...and I've reached my goal! I was going save some for today, but right about the time I was ready to hop off, Van Halen came around on my playlist and told me to "Come on, Baby, finish what you started...!" :-D
Going to continue and see how close I can come to last month's goal I was short on...75 miles.

I ran/walked 6.5 miles today in 1 hr 15 mins.
Temperature 4C/ 40F but felt a little colder due to the northern wind, clear skies. Perhaps this is no big deal for the US mainland, but for Athens its considered cold.0 -

if you are...here is the directions for how i did it...
First i used www.mvm.com to make the models at 10lb intervals from my high at 254.8 down to my goal weight of 145 and then saved each picture to my computer. Then I opened a word doc and placed the pics in order from big to small. I ended up taking out a few pics to make my 1/2 point right at my approximate 1/2 way point.
Then I saved it as a PDF and the exported to a jpg. Lastly I uploaded it to the MFP website.

I'm done with a 2.5 mile walk in the cold (but sunny) weather with my furries, I also got my weight lifting in!!!
I am erked cuz even after being sick for a week I did not lose a pound!!! I wanted to lose 10 pounds by 2/19 and all I've lost is 1 and that was before I got sick!!:grumble: Keep trying I guess!!!0 -

My goal, for January, was to walk 50 miles and I have achieved my goal. I might still walk since the month is not over..who knows.
