    9/15 ~ 3.73 mi (35.90) (-24.10) ~Fell during this run! After wiping out my cuts I managed to have a (for me) record time. Surely I'm an undiscovered superhero... ;)

    Since I'm not technically capable of setting up a ticker, I'm at 15.5 miles and my goal is to get 40 miles in by the end of September. I had to take a week off to heal an injury.

    9/5: 4.75 mi on treadmill (3.1 at current race pace, 1.65 climbing intervals)
    9/6: 1.25 mi on treadmill (.5 warmup, .75 cooldown)
    9/8: 4.25 mi on treadmill (intervals)
    9/11: 2.9 mi on treadmill (walking but I'm counting it as I'm slightly injured but keeping muscles warm for race on Saturday)
    9/13: 3.1 RACE DAY! Cut off 2 minutes on my 5k time. 35:42

    So proud of myself today, did 6.8 miles in under a 10 min mile pace which I never do. I'm such a 10.5 to 11 min miler for anything over 3 miles.

    Is it too late to join for September? I am coming off an injury, hoping to be ready to run 2 Halfs in October. My goal for the month is to run 50 miles and this week will be my first attempt to run on back to back days. I ran my first 'longish' run in months yesterday - 7.5 miles pain free!

    When i set the goal i could not run more then 5 km, now i run 11km. It's the most i have ran in a month ever.
    @Tisch1985- That's fantastic! The month's only half done & you were ill. You not only completed your goal early, but achieved an excellent NSV. Way to go!:glasses:

    Pain?? What is this pain you speak of? Akaiookami is an invincible super runner, no mere fall shall keep her from her PR.
    Next time I wipe out & want to limp home I'm going to remember how tough you are & try to keep going.:wink:

    Groin strain completely derailed me this month; we'll see how close we can get
