I would definitely recommend C25K. I never thought I could do it, and I'm on week 5 with no problems thus far. Obviously the hardest is yet to come, but I have enough faith that i'll be able to do it!!

Does this cost money? I'm a poor college student remember, and I already had to pay to register for the 5K (helping a good cause though.)

But if it's free or inexpensive and will help, I'll drink to that! :drinker:

QOTD: That would be my current car, pictured in my profile pic. 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier convertible. Bought as a steal last summer with only 38,000 miles on it. Named CiCi (my sister insisted I name it), I LOVE IT!! Lol. I can't wait for it to be warm again to go speeding around with the top down, blasting music.

Oh dude... *drool* That is so stinking awesome!!!! Love it!!!! And you HAVE to name a car like that...no doubt! Sister is totally right!

QOTD: My first car that I drove was my parent's old Dodge Caravan HOWEVER!!! The first car that I bought myself was a 1991 Dodge Shadow Convertible. I was pretty thrilled with myself and with it. Until my boyfriend drove it home and hit a deer with it 3 weeks after I bought it. :grumble: I was not very happy with him...BUT! I am pretty sure I forgave him as I did marry him a year later... :o)

QOTD: my first car was an 82 VW Quantum. If you shut it off you had to wait at least 20 minutes before you could restate it and one of the doors was a different blue then the rest of the car. Only a couple shades of but never noticeable. That car didn't last long before it died. My 2nd car was one of my favorite cars though it was an 87 ford Taurus w/ manual transmission. All my friends hated to drive it but I loved that the clutch was a little stiff. I have loved diving a manual since and miss it. It is so hard to find one now a days with out special ordering.

Okay! RANDOM QOTD! What was your FIRST car?? :o)

My first car was a very sexy tan buick century. :ohwell: It was falllllling apart. Not only was it used when my parents bought it, but my older brother & sister had driven it for a few years & had added in their own dents...but after driving it for only 3 months I was rear ended and the car was completely totaled...so on the first day of my senior year in high school I got to pick out a new car with my dad! We brought home MY first car [since nobody else in my family had abused it I considered it solely mine] which was a green pontiac grand prix. It was smokin' :glasses:

QOTD: my first car was a 1982 Ford Granada that I received as a graduation gift from my grandparents. I grew up in this car, taking trips with them up to Minnesota every summer, and it was very special to me. It was very plush with a huge trunk and comfy seats and had a 22 gallon gas tank, power locks, power windows, rear defrost, cruise, (all of which was totally unheard of for a 1982 vehicle) and a steering wheel that was made out of HARD plastic that never got too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. I absolutely hated giving up this car, but it had over 250,000 miles on it when I got rid of it and I was still commuting 90 miles a day so I needed something newer. I have yet to have a car that I liked as much as I did this one....

My parents had a granada when I was growing up. It was grey with red interior. My sister's first car was it's counter part a Mecury Zephyer. She hated that thing sooo much called it the banana as it was banana yellow.

    QOTD:

WELL.........the first car I drove was our family car- I believe a 95 Ford escort wagon. It was awesome. When I was in high school, "cruising the loop" was the cool thing to do, and my friends and I would use window paint to write WAGON on the windshield. We're cool right. One night I let my brother who wasn't old enough to drive, take "my" car while I was at work to take home a friend. His friend drove it, slid on the ice going too fast and ran into another car, totalling the other car and badly denting ours. It drove for a few years after that, but by my birthday, I used my entire savings to buy myself a 94 Grand Am that I eventually crashed and totalled, and the bad luck with cars never really ended. I drive around my '03 Ford Windstar proudly---dents and all. :)

OF COURSE YOU ARE COUNTING!!!!!! :o) How could you not!!!

Plans this weekend anyone? I'm really hoping to enjoy my time with my men. Last weekend was miserable recovering from that awful surgery and then immediately getting sick so it was a complete blur. I'm hosting a small fundraiser tomorrow but other then that I have a fairly free weekend. I'm think I will probably have one other fundraiser related meeting but that may hold off until Monday. :o)
