Goal #1: Oktoberfest starts on my birthday this month, so I guess my goal this month is to stay ahead of the calorie count by turning the pedals enough to indulge...
Goal #2: Get fewer flats this month.
Goal #3: Season is winding down, so it's time to start working in some fun fall rides with no particular training goals.

Need 54 more miles in the next 2 days to reach 450 - which should be doable if I can avoid another nasty spill. I'm still trying to figure out if my latest road rash from Friday turning black is a bad thing... better get some more neosporin to be safe.
With roughly 150 running miles planned for next month, and my triathlon swimming mileage starting to fall behind due to a sore shoulder, I may drop down to 300 miles for next month's challenge so I can spend more time in the pool and pounding the pavement.
