This is one of the best post I have read. Very informative, inspirational and is not condescending in your journey (I have read many many posts that were). I applaud your effort and your willingness to share your knowledge

    Fantastic.

Your philosophy and methods are pretty aligned to my approach, too. I am NOT on a diet! I am figuring out the best way to life healthfully for a lifetime.

LOVED reading this, and hearing about your maintenance. So happy for you, and hope to be making posts like that myself one day.

    I blog over at http://amytenpercent.blogspot.com, if you're interested. :)

This is what people who are maintaining need to hear. Live the life of a thin, healthy person.. even after you've reached your goal weight, it is still a mental leap to see yourself as a thin, healthy person.

Thank you ShannonMpls. You are truely an inspiration. I am new to MFP ( or should I say new the 2nd or 3rd time around)

I have never heard anyone talk like it is a lifestyle instead of a diet. I have always said it was a lifestyle but i never had the information to begin . And `Get the ****over it` , Wow, so true.

Today, I got the **** over it`. I have started my life.

What a gift this post is.

I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your blog.

It's so refreshing to hear someone talk about weight loss in a common sense way. Your "habits" point particularly hit home for me. I just sometimes get overwhelmed when I think about the number of habits I need to change and new ones I need to develop!

Thank you for sharing this. Best wishes for your continued health and success!!
