Thats not very nice! I was just feeling guilty about what i've eaten yesterday and today. Trying to motivate myself to workout. Cakes won't help!...well, maybe they will...I'll think about how hard I have to work to burn those calories off!

Okay, wasn't near the net Friday, but I weighed in at 174.5 and I'm 5'4". I would like to be below 170 by the end of September. I can't seem to move from where I am though!0

Hi everyone!!! This is what I get for not having internet in my room anymore... i was still on last month's competition time. I was coming to check in today since monday's were our old check in days...but I'm glad to find you all still here....
I'm down to 156 this morning, that's 2 lbs down from last monday.. and 10 lbs in all since we started this competition!!!!! i'm soo excited.. i know it's still the beginning.. but that's ok ..
I'll check in on Friday's from now on

Mary24 - would it help if you read through your profile again? Look at the reasons why you joined in the first place . . . .
Try and focus on one choice at a time - rather than looking at the big picture. Instead of dropping out, how about planning your next meal/snack? Make it something you enjoy, and count the calories, but go for a walk or do something to balance it out. Then move onto the next choice . . . do one choice at a time. Some choices may be good, others not as good, but at least you'll be moving in the right direction - rather than giving up!:flowerforyou:0 -

I don't know if this will help but I made a list of things I was looking forward to when I've lost some weight e.g. looking as good as my friends when I go out, being able to fit into smaller sizes etc etc and I got so excited that I decided that it was really worth it!

I agree with the other two, don't just quit, just start over tomorow is another day, just b/c you ate bad today, or even a couple days, tomorow is brand new!
For example yesterday I had a big mac combo, which of course is not a very diet thing to do, but, as long as I don't do that everyday, and I work a little bit harder the rest of this week i'll probably be okay.
We love you in our group, and you help to keep us going too! Just keep working out, and don't stress, you've done so good, and I know you can keep it up!!!0 -

Menu
Breakfast: 1 cup oatmeal with skim milk
Lunch: 1 bowl Mr. noodle soup, 1 whole wheat sandwich
Snack: 1 serving yogurt, 1/2 cup baby carrots
Dinner: 1 cup home cooked beans with a slice home made whole wheat bread
Exercise
Leslie Sansone's Walk away the pounds, walk strong DVD, 2 miles in 30 min.
My goals for this week is to lose 1 pound

Yesterday sounds great! I have some days where I do really well, some days not quite as well, and then some days I feel like crap because of one meal I ate. But I know its a slow process. I've also been so frustrated because i've been here a couple of months and I've lost about 1 pound. I used to be on a low carb high protein diet, but now have switched to more healthy, low fat foods. I don't know if my body is still trying to adjust to such an extreme diet change or? I keep trying though. I get discouraged for a bit and then keep working toward my healthy goal. Good luck. Well, no change this week. Actually I haven't had an change in several weeks. My bf thinks I should talk to the doctor about my thyroid when I go back. I've changed from a low carb high protein diet to actually eating the way you should. I thought my body had to adjust to such an extreme change...but I would have thought my body has had time to adjust. Any thoughts?

Zoepane - we weigh in every Friday morning, I think this is the second weigh-in for the month. We've set goals for ourselves, and are trying to meet those goals by the end of the month. You're more than welcome to join!
Stacesand - I really don't know what could be going on with you. If you're meeting your daily calories etc... you would think the weight would come off. Maybe you should mention this to your doc?
As for me - I'm :grumble: up one pound. Not very happy about it . . . but here's to next week!0 -

my starting weight was 159 my new weight is 158.
I lost one pound, but honestly cheated a bunch this week:laugh: I'm just surprised that I didn't gain:blushing:

In addition, I just wanted to add that I was reading everyone's comments and everyone seems so sad I just wanted to say, that what we are doing (not this competition) is wonderful, we could just ignore the problem-but instead we are taking a positive approach to fixing our weight gain.
I just wanted to say that I think that each of you are amazing, and keep up the good work!

well i finally got my new scale :bigsmile: ... so I adjusted my starting weight ... 156lbs
Goal: 120lbs (1-2lbs / week)
Today 153.4lbs (not bad 2.6 sounds good to me
Total loss = 2.6 lbs0 -

Hi everyone I just wanted to let you all know I went to see the Dr. yesterday and acording to her scal I had lost 12 pounds in the last month, when I went there a month ago a was 118 kg and yesterday I was 112 kg. So today I tock my scal to the Dump!!!! I was really mad at my scal:mad: and now its gone, she wants to see me again in 4 weeks :ohwell:
Wish me luck!!!
Oh and I wont weigh in every friday now becuz I have no scal, but I will still let you all no how I'm doing every friday, and give you my weight on Oct 2 or 3ed after I seen my Dr.
