My weekend was really good! No indulgences and I even started a weight training program. Figure I'll do an upper workout one day, a lower another and then the third will be rest or cardio depending. This gives me 2 days of rest in between each body part which I need. My arm muscles are still hurting a bit since Saturday! LOL I guess I was just really out of shape! It's been a while since I worked out with weights. Forgot how much I love it!
Did my meditation! I usually do anyway so it was an easier challenge for me! I used to say about myself "I can sit on the floor of an empty room and be amused - do you think I need meds?" LOL Now I am grateful that I can feel such peace in such siimplicity and quiet.
Not sure if I want to weigh in tomorrow but I will. Best of luck to all of you for reaching your goals and even if you didn't (like me I'm sure) at least we stuck with it!

I forgot to check in on this site, but I reached the lower goal...I lost 5 pounds by Valentine's Day, and now 8 pounds total! I turn 52 at the end of the month and my new goal is to lose at least 5 more pounds-- I want to be below 199 by my birthday.
March 29: 199 or less
April 24 (Easter): 190 or less
During Lent I am committing myself to exercise 5 out of 7 days for at least 30 minutes (ideally, 1 hour), Not eating at any restaurant that has a "drive-through" lane (not even in a hurry!), drinking at least 90 ounces of water each day, and Bringing my lunch 4 out of 5 days. (March 9-April 23, 2011) (The water will be the hard part!)
