PART 2 January 3-month Challenge, to start on 1/7/2011 from

I was just made aware that our challenge post has been locked out due to having 500 posts! That's pretty cool and pretty crappy at the same time =)

Here is part 2 of our posts so let's make this home! The last person to post on the old forum was magglett re: her custom orthotics, so if you wanted to respond to that, do it here!

Post your mini-challenge results here and I will post the spreadsheet on here starting this week. I hope everyone finds this!!

So, Last week (monday) i got sick with a stomach bug just for that day and by Friday i weighed in at 136.8 (down 2.9 lbs). I thought I was doing well with keeping it off even when I got my strength back and was eating normal again. But this week I've been consistently weighing in at 139-140 :( That's my stuck place, i always stay close to 140. ive been working out all week and eating pretty well, it's going to be sad to weigh in tomorrow having gained weight! I guess those 2.9 was all water and i'll be back to my weight before that weigh in....

Mini challenge this week is going well! Today- Burned 623 calories (1388/1800 calories), Under for cals and carbs, At 64 oz of water and it is only 130!

This week I have managed to work out more than I have since I started this journey. I have also been under on carbs and cals all week and I have been doing pretty well with water consumption. I am actually looking forward to seeing what I lose this week! Hopefully my work and focus will show on the scale.

Gosh darn it I failed my water intake challenge :( Only got to 43oz... poo

Other news.... 1049 calories burned and under calories for the day. I got 2/3's of the way there but Im still annoyed that it wasn't another hat-trick today!! haha Ah well, I guess its still alot better than my intake this time last week which would have read something like...0oz :)

Weigh in tomorrow...nerves are upon me! EEEKKK! Had the same problem as you this week Diana (had sneak peaks - BOLD!)...down 1lb, then up 1lb.... didnt weigh yesterday cos I was too mad at the scales for upsetting me! So tomorrow morning will be interesting. Hope its a good interesting :)

I disagree with you...I definitely see a change between the two sets of pictures! You're doing a great job...the routine will work itself out! Keep your head up...keep pushing! I'm behind u...if that means anything :))

Robin, I can totally see a difference! Honestly I can!!

have hovered between 160-200 for the last 10 years and I have always been a size 12 or 14. You'd think with a 40 or so pound difference there would be more variety. I don't get it either! Everyones body is a certain way (bones, distribution, etc.) But clothing sizes dont tell the whole story. I can tell a difference in you, you're more toned! Dont get discouraged, please :) you've done so well!

Sooooooooooooooooo disappointed with this mornings weigh in :(:(:(:(

Only down 1.8lbs. I was hoping for a big number this week with all the extra work I put in. The only thing I can put it down to is what I discovered last night in the answer section on here about eating back your exercise calories. I haven't eaten ANY of my exercise calories this week and I burned over 1,000 everyday so essentially (according to the thread) I was 'starving' myself all week? Never even thought about it that way but I guess makes sense :( I only had a NET of around 200-300 cals everyday...

Im just sooo annoyed that I only figured this out last night...it feels like a week wasted :(

Well I know what I have to do next week!! Eat my face off :)

Here's how I did in the mini challenge this week :

    Calories burned - 4,301/2800 (Mon-Fri)
Under calories daily (which I now know is not a good thing!)
    323oz/350oz water drank (Mon-Fri @70oz per day)

Going to make some readjustments for next weeks challenge for sure :)

    Good luck guys

    Week 10 (3/11 )-
    Week 11 (3/18) -
Week 12 and the END (3/25)

Happy with the weight loss this week but very curious what it would have been if i didn't indulge so much on wine last night. I know my body is retaining water, I can feel it. Oh well, I will see it next week. I have 3 weeks to lose 5.4 lbs which while still possible is not very likely since I lose about 1 pound a week. So I am still saying my goal is to be 168 by 3/25 but silver medal will be awarded if I am under 170!
