    Congrats everyone on sticking to it. Great to see everyone's progress.

    I didn't have a great first week.

    SW 203
    CW 205

    Not cool.
    Not the end of the world either. It's just week one. I still have time to pull it together.

    I'm happy because I got in my workouts, but my eating was all over the place.

    Some could be water weight so I'll weigh in later in the week and compare.

    In the meantime healthy eating and lot's of exercise.

    I weighed myself on the Tanita analyzer scale at the gym... I cannot believe I'm 34.4% Fat! Yikes!

    so far so good...however I've been sick for the last few dayswith a tummy buy so I'm not too sure if this is correct - will show next week..

    Ate out twice yesterday due to business meetings, but tried to make healthy choices. At least I worked out when I got home at 8:45. Will try to do better today.

    we got in really late last night from our trip, so I didn't weigh in, but my current weight is 157 =(
    This weekend kicked my diets butt! I did the best I could in the circumstances, but sometimes there were no other options and I didn't get to work out at all ALL WEEKEND =(

    Hi all I'm sorry I've been MIA lately,I still want to take part in the challenge but I'm having a week off strict counting this week as hubby and I are both off work - a rare occurance! I'm actually up, I weighed this morning and I'm 157.0 :o( Water I HOPE!!! But I'll be back to loosing again as of Sunday so hopefully next weeks weigh in will be better!

    Hi all,
    Just wanted to share that I just got Zumba for my xbox kinect and I LOVE it! It has where you can do the whole hour, like a class, or 20 minute workouts, which is SO awesome since I don't always have time for a full hour with my kiddos running around, or if I have some extra time and want to burn just a few more calories for the day! I did the 20 minute 'beginner' workout today and according to MFP I burned 122 calories, although I really believe that to be an inaccurate measure, because I read an article on yahoo that says Zumba burns anywhere from 700 to 900 calories an hour, and MFP always only gives me 400 calories per hour... anyhow, just wanted to share that I LOVE it and highly recommend it!!!

    I forgot to post my weight yesterday...my SW was 172, my CW is 170. I have been stuck at 170 for a week now. Grrr.r....Its so frustrating!

    My SW was 89kgs
    my 8/03 weight was 88.3kgs

    My current weight today (10/03) is 87.7kgs - i just had to tell someone how excited I was this morning... i havent been this low in AGES.... its definately keeping me motivated.... especially for this weekend where i am travelling interstate, and going to be doing lots of running around, and eating on the go - at least i will make smart choices!

    My GW on 01/04 is 84kgs

    WOW - guys we have done great!!!

    We have 108 people still in the challenge!

    Our total pounds to loose as a group from the beginning of the challenge was: 922.1!!

    But in our first week we have lost............wait for it.......211.5!!!! Its so fantastic im so proud of each and every one of u! We have 710.6 still to go as a group.

    I want to say a massive congrats to BigBeaver and startingoverca who have bost lost a massive 9 pounds in the challenge so far! They were our biggest losers to date. So well done guys! Who will be next weeks biggest loser??

    Yeah, I got Zumba Fitness for my Wii a couple months back... it's great at the beginniing, but I find it doesn't push me as much anymore.

    I found somewhere on the internet where it said that you burn 400-500 calories in an hour class, so that is what I put in to MFP - this then gives me about 177 for a 20 minute session.

    Sounds alright to me, as I don't want to over estimate my calorie burn..... but I will be buying a HRM at the end of the month to get the correct amount.

    Current Pant Size a tight 14 in most
    and down a pants size!

    If you have a Pure Barre in your area I highly recommend it..

    I just got this for the WII this week as well. I have done the 20 min workouts the last two nights with my 13 year old daugther who loves it too. From all the research I did the WII Zumba is less intense so the lower calorie burn would be expected. I hope that my knees will hold up and once I get these down and not challenging then I will move on to the DVDs which are supposed to be much closer to an actual class and give you the 700-900 calorie burn. Hopefully it wil be good and just glad to find something to get me moving!!
