Today's weigh in......................... 220.2!!!!!!! I'm so tickled!!! I have had such a hard time getting the weight off. Thanks to my new meds I am getting it done. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism. Its still a battle but nothing like it was. ~~ Happy Dance~~

Now this is what aggravates me...You know Tues I weighed in and was 1.2 down and so I agreed to wait and not use that loss as I still had till Thursday ...figured Oh yeah I can lose more by Thur....Well

UGH! Scale, I hate you. I've gained 0.6 lbs since this challenge started, I wanted to lose 4 and now there's only 1 week left I know this extra pound is TOM this week, but I'm really hoping once it's gone I'll see the scale go down to below 150 at least. I started training for a 5K last week and I've been at the gym working out pretty intensely 4 days during the week. Now I just need to behave with my eating this weekend and I think i'm on a good path.0 -

I have. Its more for the insulin resistance that PCOS causes. It is wonderful!! It takes the constant hunger away and I don't get sleepy or tired anymore either. I swear it has saved my life!! Its called Victoza. Its a tiny shot but I will never be without it again!!! I now know that I can get healthy!!! I can not say enough good things about it. You can look it up on the internet but be sure to ask your doctor about it. Its a little on the new side. Its worth asking about.0 -

Wednesday night is the night that I go to a dinner party at a friend's house and usually don't count my calories... just try to watch my portion control. I've been getting so much better at not overdoing it, but I don't usually feel good about getting on the scale first thing Thursday - I still feel full - ugh.
Only one more weigh in left in the challenge! 1.6 pounds left to go. That is still achievable. Wish me luck!

The process of buying and selling a house has caused me to not make exercise a priority and eat out many nights over the last couple weeks - including last night. I ate more than I usually do and had more sodium than I usually do. Not to mention the stress....I'm going to check in again tomorrow, but I have some work to do this week!0 -

Well last week i was 180lbs
(and because i don't have a scale that tells me if i've lost like .5 of a pound, i'm still at 180lbs, but it looks like it's verging to 179 which would be my goal

WOW thanks for the info!! I will do some research! The weight issuse defo puts me down but what I find most frustrating is the hair growth on my face and the spots! I just wish they would go away
