morning:
well this was the weigh in to see if eating as close to the said caloriers made a difference. i ate within 200 or less to said calories. one day went way over. didn't change much in exercise. anyway the results are in.
lost drummmmmmm rolllllllllllllllllllllllll 4.2 pounds down.:drinker: :bigsmile: :laugh: :happy:
AND down 1 1/2 inches on bust & waist, down 2 inches on hips :bigsmile:
i only now have 7 more to lose to get to my stopped smoking weight. that is my biggest most first goal. i weighed 212 when doc said to quit. i gained 26#s doing that. i think i am 3#s from hitting this challenge goal. i don't remember my starting weight.
well, time to update my blog.

Katy & Cathy - WoW!!!! Big losses. You both are a great inspiration. Keep up the good work!
I am down another 2 pounds and very happy :happy: about that. I owe it all to our little group here that helps keep me on track. I am feeling good about this and can't wait til I weigh in again next week. I do have to admit I had set a goal of burning 3000 exercise calories last week and only actually did 1800. I think I will try it again, but only shoot for 2000 this week. This will be difficult since I have started my Anatomy & Philiology class right now and the homework & class will keep me extra busy. I also must drink at least 6 glasses of water a day; that will help keep me full. I have fallen off track with that lately.
I hope everyone else has a good weigh-in today.:happy:

2 more weeks gals! 12 pounds in 2 weeks is probably not going to happen for me, but I am 8 pounds down since I started! That's something!!! I'm hoping to still see a nice loss in these next couple weeks! Another 5 pounds would be GREAT! I'll work REALLY hard!!!!

My plan for the day:
Breakfast:
HomeMade Fruit/Yogurt parfait...(3/4 c. Whole Grain Total cereal lightly crushed, 1 AE YoLite yogurt, 1 c. strawberries), 8 oz. PlumSmart Lite juice, 1 multivitamin.
AM Snack:
2 c. coffee, 2 tbsp. sugar-free Vanilla Caramel creamer, 1 soft-baked Kashi TLC Baked Apple bar.
Lunch:
???--I still don't know where they are taking my for my farewell lunch today...so I will just be careful to make good choices.
Afternoon Snack:
I brought 1 med. apple and 1 Kashi TLC Pumpkin Spice Flax crunchy granola bar but depends on how much I have for lunch.
Dinner:
Left-over Black Bean Soup and a green salad with spritzer dressing.
PM Snack:
???--depends on calories remaining.
Exercise plan--45 minute Step class and 15 minute Ab workout.
So...I think today will be fine. Although I'm going out for lunch, I think I can make good choices, plus with my big cardio workout tonight, I know I will burn lots of calories! Let's talk goals...
Last weeks...
1. I'd like to lose another 2 pounds by next week...so weigh in at 162.
2. Avoid the scale again this week.
3. No more than one day of going over in calories...this gave good results this week...so I'd like to do it again!!!
I didn't do so great on these. I only lost 1/2 pound and I know I went over more than one day. But I did avoid the scale!:bigsmile: I like that goal!
For this week...
1. Lose 2 pounds...I really need to work hard! So...weigh in at 161.5.
2. Avoid the scale again.
3. Only one day going over in calories...focus, Kristin, FOCUS!
4. Plan meals each evening for the next day...will make it easier for this new job!
Okay...challenges this week...
1. Todays lunch...I WILL make good choices and not go overboard!
2. Tomorrow dinner...probably going out for the hubby's birthday...again I WILL make good choices!
3. Sunday dinner at in-laws...this is going to be the tough one! Need to make sure and get a workout in that morning!
So...that's where I stand for this week. I think my goals are realistic and the challenges can be overcome! I CAN DO IT!!!!!

Good morning ladies! Happy weigh in day!
Ok. So last week was not good for me. I was up 3.8 pound due to TOM. This week I am down 4.2 pounds. I was able to loose it all plus a little. Just a little but it still counts! So I am only going to consider myself down .4 .
Today I am parent helper at school so no walk today. I will have to drag myself to the gym? Probably not. I also have WW Weigh in and something at 7pm. Some sort of party like Pampered Chef to go to. It is going to be a challenge to get some exercise in.
My food is not planned out at this point. I will get on that and be back to post it all!

off to shower and lunch soon. i think i will make another one of those pizzas i made yesturday.

Me....:noway: .....I'm soooo mad :grumble: :explode: I am at a solid 190.0 lbs this morning. I'm not mad that I gained .2 lbs...I'm mad because I have been working so hard, eating so good...and my clothes are bigger....I thought for sure I'd have a loss. I went home from the gym this morning and asked my husbad...brutally honest man....if I looked smaller...he said yes. So I don't know. He said its because I'm replacing fat with muscle...blah blah...I know that is partly true...but I'm not replacing pounds of fat with pounds of muscle....anyways. I'm trying not to get discouraged and I'm TRYING to chalk it up to what happens to the contestants the second week on biggest loser....very little happens the second week...and this was officially my second week being 100% comitted....
SO.....I'm not devastated....just cranky.
BUT SOOOO HAPPY FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to continue to workout...cause it makes me feel strong....I'm going to continue to eat well...because it makes me feel healthy...and I'm going to continue down this path....because its good for my future.
The pounds will come if I stay committed.....

Well, I hate to break the streak but I'm up this week :grumble: I'm not going to keep weighing or anything, but if I did I sort of suspect I would see my weight go back to last week's over the next day or 2. I ended up having a high-sodium day yesterday as well (I need groceries!!) and historically I know that usually adds 1 to 3lbs the next day. I almost didn't weigh-in this morning but decided I'd just roll with it. It also may be TOM approaching (I don't know because my body is still getting back into the swing of things after having my son. The 1st and 2nd time were about 2 months apart so it may not be TOM for another month.. or less.. lol who knows!) So here are my stats now:
week 1: 201lbs
week 2: 197.6 lbs
week 3: 195.0lbs
week 4: 194.8lbs
week 5: ?
week 6: 189.6lbs
week 7: 187.2lbs
week 8: 184.4lbs
week 9: 183.4lbs
week 10: 184.2lbs

week 12: 182 lbs

:flowerforyou: Thanks Kristin... ....lol I feel better....I honestly feel like I'm moving in the right direction even if the scale isn't cooperating.
I did Shred lvl 1 again last night and it was still VERY hard, but I did better with it than the first time and I feel stronger...don't know how that can be after only 2 times...but hey its Jillian and she kicks butt!! lol I went to the gym this morning and burned 396 calories....today is going to be weird with the food because its month end and I'm going to be pretty stressed out! hahaha....I hope I don't eat too much.

I think because I'm working out WAY more than I used too my metabolism is reving up...which is weird for me to say considering that I didn't lose any weight last week...I think maybe I need to eat a little bit more....

OMG...the Chinese buffet they took me to for lunch TOTALLY won!:explode: :explode: :explode: SO...today is for SURE my one day over this week! ARGH!:explode: :explode: :explode: Why do I do this???? BUT...I AM going to the gym tonight and will burn off whatever I can. But I ate a LOT...lots of veggies but LOTS of dessert...that is where I went wrong. Had I stopped after the meal, I wouldn't be so bad...but my darn sweet tooth gave in and I totally over did it! :explode: :explode: :explode: What a crappy start to this week...oh well...all week to recover I suppose...

Kristin, dont worry abou it! You will burn it off. The thing about it is , this is real life and we will go out to dinner , or have a trade show(Pedal), or have days where we just cant get the exercise in (myself). That is why , the way we are taking off our pounds is going to keep them off for good!
I have not had lunch yet. Not sure what to eat. I did have asian pears at my little one's school today. One of the parents is an organic farmer and brings in asian pears every day. I love those things! Yummy!
I may go and do 30 Day Shred LVL 1 right now. Then some lunch.
Cass- your friend really needs to join in! She will love it here!

I made a mini sub on 1/2 of a wheat roll for lunch today. It was very tasty and low in cals. I think I will do that a little more often.

Deb....first off...that mini sub sounds AWESOME!!! Second, no...I'm kicking myself for not measuring, but I didn't. Perhaps I'll measure tonight...that way when I don't lose in the future I can take a look at measurements and be happy.

He knew I was a little bummed today and wanted me to not get down on myself. ....he said "Cassidy, I notice a difference...its all....tightening up." hahahaha ....yesterday when I was doing Shred, he was like...."Look at that *kitten*"...hahaha...he really REALLY likes my booty. I'm curvey even at 150, I've got T and A...its just smaller and higher...LMOA!!

Cass....:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: You are TOO funny! What a sweetie your hubby is! TOTAL brownie points!!!! My hubby...not so much, but he totally means well, just doesn't say it. Anywho...I only had a small piece of cake so they didn't feel bad about buying it for me. I'm taking it home for the hubby to mouw down! He'll love it and totally isn't worried about calories so he can have it! And to tell you the truth, having it in the house is no problem because I don't even really like birthday cake (yes I'm weird!) but unless it's whipped cream frosting, I'm not a big fan! Well...my last day and I'm sad. I'm seriously going to miss my co-workers. But it's the same company so I can still see them!
Well...gonna go chat with some people for the remainder of the day. Then to the gym. And THEN maybe to the mall for a while...we will see...

Cass, nice that your DH thought to actually SAY it to you! Mine is great with that stuff too. Always makes sure he tells me how proud he is particularly when I'm having a bad day.
So, I've blown it today. I need to get out of weekend trade show junk food mode!! I'm with you Kristin, this will be my one day that I'm over on calories! And to add insult to injury, I'm baking bread today (apricot and anise bread!!) and of course I'm still going to have a piece when it's warm out of the oven. Fortunately I'm getting to a step class tonight which isn't one of my regular ones so I'll have an extra work out this week. I think when you eat like crap for a couple of days you get that sluggish feeling and you're also more hungry. Bad combo. I'll bust out of this! After my bread. lol Can youi guys beat me up a little please???0 -

soooo very true amy. life happens and there is nothing we can do about it, but, roll with the punches and go on. it's just hard at the time life kicks.
deb. i did step for 30 mins and burned 405 and than jumped on the treadmill for 70 mins at 30 to 33 at a very high incline and burned 1049. i am also over 200 so i burn'm up. my HR was between 135 to 154.
i ate all of my 2700 calories today, and i am full. yea, kistin that chinese can do you in. but, so good. now to work it off for the rest of the week. and the salt. LOL.
well, off to put my jammies on i am tired tonight for some reason. looked at 3 more houses today. one DH and i fell in love with. but, not ours it's sons choice.

Sounds like a day today lol! I did a subway club as a salad for lunch today with oil and vinegrar dressing..it was yummy. Snack was a fiber one bar and I also had a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte-nonfat with DanLedford this morning

So dinner was small cube steak- about 4oz- qtr cup of rice and some broccoli and chz. Havent exercised yet- not sure if I will today. I have alot of HW to do tonight! I am about to do PT exercises tho!!

Hey gals! I am home from a great workout...hopefully burned off lots of those calories I ate, but I know I'm still over. I am planning my meals the day ahead from now on...I think it will work better for me with this new job. That way I can post in the evenings the day before...we'll see how it goes. Here's the plan for tomorrow:
Breakfast:
1 c. Multigrain Cheerios, 1/2 c. skim milk, 10 red raspberries, 1 med. banana, 8 oz. PlumSmart Lite, 1 multivitamin.
AM Snack:
Kashi soft-baked TLC Baked Apple bar...I'll have to see how my breaks happen...no idea yet. AND not sure if I'll get my coffee in or not. I'm hoping to just grab a cup a work if I'm doing paperwork and what not in the morning...or I might take some with...we'll see.
Lunch:
Turkey and Cheese sandwich, 14 baby carrots, diet coke, AE YoLite yogurt.
Afternoon Snack:
1 med apple, Kashi TLC Pumpkin Flax crunchy granola bar.
Dinner:
Not sure yet...depends on what hubby wants to do for his birthday. We will see.
Exercise plan-- HOPEFULLY my normal 1/2 hour run and 1 hour BodyPump...but again depends on the hubby. So...I'll report tomorrow.

I won't be coming on in the morning but here are my meals for tomorrow:
1: rolled oats w/ flax, agave and peanut butter
2: vegetable stir fry w/ brown rice and peanut sauce
3: 1 slice Ezekiel bread w/ peanut butter, 1 apple, vanilla ice cream protein shake
4: post work-out protein shake, 1 bowl 7 bean soup, mixed green salad w/ olive oil & vinegar
5: air popped popcorn and 1c steamed peas (I love peas and my sodium was too LOW so I had to add this to boost it up over 500mg :noway: )
Tomorrow I have a step class - the good one - and sadly my best friend is leaving. But it will be back to the routine which should be good in its own right.

Good morning ladies!
Well, I went to Weight Watchers last night and had a wonderful weigh in. So I thought I was up 3.8 last week. I was only up 3.2, and this week I lost 4.8!!!!!!! So on top of loosing all of the gained weight I also lost 1.6 pounds! Yahoo!
Total pounds lost 4.4!
I cant remember what goal I set for myself? 10 pounds? I dont think I will get there in 2 weeks but I could. Who knows. I am going to give it a try.
Today is long walk day! Hopefully 7 to 9 miles. Food is going to be a challenge as I need to go to the grocery store. Hoepfully I can do that this evening.
