OK, so kind of embarassed posting my c-section/hernia surgery scarred, still a bit flabby belly, but I am constantly amazed and inspired by all of your stories here, so thought I'd jump in with my first few weeks' progress - slowly but surely everyone! LONG way to go before swim suit season, but I have to tie my gray comfy pants now or they start to fall down when I'm on the treadmil - lol

Keep up the great work everyone!!

I'm glad you did... I didn't take a before pic, but I know mine's gone down too. Still not pretty, but it's my battle scars and I don't know who I'd be without them!

Dont be ashamed! Everyone has somewhere to start. The beauty of imperfection is the possibility for improvement after all!
And you look great, i can see a massive difference. And in just a few weeks! What typeof workouts did you find worked for you?

FANTASTIC! What a difference! I too, had 2 c-sections and find that my c-section "pouch" is what is my hardest thing to get rid of....I'm finishing my 6 weeks of being with MFP and I've lost 13 lbs. I'm noticing a little difference in my belly...but, it seems that it's the one thing that wants to hang on to my body. However, I was able to put on my jeans without sucking in this morning and found myself a few times today, pulling the waist up! So...that's progress! Thanks for posting...makes me motivated to continue this trip.

Nice!!! I had a c-section as well and find the scar to be a sort of annoying "zipper" that makes below it all tight and then the rest a floppy dangly mess. I've been noticing improvement there as well and it's so satisfying!!! Keep up the good work. :)

Fantastic!!! :) That's a major difference - and if that much has changed in only a month - wow! Would love if you'd share what's working for you (what kind of workouts, what / how you're eating, and how much intensity you're bringing to this mission.) Whatever you're doing, it's working!

You look sooo good! It all takes time... But so worth it! Keep up the good work!!

I made it about 20 days into 30 day shred, then we got our treadmill, so I generally do a half hour of run/walk intervals (run as long as I can at a certain speed, or as fast as I can for a minute then walk a minute or two in between) for 30-40 minutes. I actually did a mile and a half at 5mph without stopping the other day - WAY further than I had ever gone before - I'm trying to convince myself not to HATE running at this point... I do modified pushups (straight body, but hands on the second or third step or our ottoman) and/or full sit-ups most days, too (trying to work my way up to 10 full-on real push-ups) I still occassionally do the 30 day shred as an extra bonus workout when I can fit it in - my diary is public, you're more than welcome to take a look (it is FAR, FAR from perfect! I get up at 4:45 so I can work out and be ready for work before I get the kids up and ready for school - if I don't work out AM it's too easy to get busy and skip it, and once it's in, if I can fit an evening workout in, it's a great bonus! With kids, I do my best to go all out and work as hard as I can - higher intensity, shorter time.

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
