Hmm Magneta that pizza sounds interesting too. I have never had a tuna pizza. What type of crust do you use?

i use the Pita Alwatan - 100% Whole Wheat.
one pita is 190 cal. not sure if i would get your type of pita at walmart canada. ill have a look next time.

tuna pizza is an italian/european thing. unfortunately they don't offer that in northamerican pizza shops.
tuna pizza tastes best with onions and corn!!! my favorite pizza on earth :-D

Glad you were able to find the pita bread......just can't beat it for 60 calories and it's really good too. Now we can all enjoy a healthy pizza that isn't packed with calories and we don't have to feel guilty about it. Enjoy:)
  • To Kylakesgal... sounds great... will try this weekend!!

OMG! I have been craving pizza but don't want to eat that frozen stuff or delivery. This will be awesome for dinner one of these nights. I actually have to go to target tonight so I will see if they have the pita bread (or something similar) you are talking about.

The flat out healthy grain flatbread is also really good. It makes an even bigger pizza for just 40 calories more if you can't find the pita bread.

  • It was so great to have PIZZA! Thanks, your recipe is great!
  • If you dont mind going and picking up a pizza at a store, Papa Murphy's has a thin crust meditterean pizza that is really low in carbs. The pizza has chicken, cheese, sundried tomatoes, spinach, and some herbs sprinkled on the top. I opt for the pizza sauce instead of the garlic olive oil sauce to control the fat intake. Always a good option.
  • I also use Bobli whole wheat thin crust with veggies and 1/4 of a cup of fat free moz. for the whole pizza for a total of around 450 calories for half of the pizza. This is with a bit of olive oil too....I had to find the larger size of healthy food as I have 4 kids and we need more portions.

And the St. Joseph's pita bread is a staple in our house for sirloin gyros, ground turkey taco night, or just lunch meat, veggies and hummas! LOVE IT!

I also use the Boboli whole wheat crust too. It's delicious and my whole family loves it too. I've switched my family over to whole wheat everything and I'm not getting any complaints:)
