I love it with cantaloupe, pineapple or apple sauce. For non-sweet mixes, try it with tomatoes, salsa, or fresh beets.0

I have cottage cheese every morning! I have it (1/4 cup) with berries usually (black, raspberries or blue) and a small yogurt all mixed up together. Sometimes I use frozen berries too. And Pineapple is yummy too. I sometimes add in 1/3 cup of all bran buds for a crunch. I find protein difficult to eat in the am, so this works for me.
Remember all cottage cheeses are not equal in taste! I like breakstones (USA) and Dairyland in Ontario, Canada.0 -

It's good with any kind of fruit, in baked potatoes and I sometimes eat it on top of organic salad with a couple drops of balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes...it's a good with a piece of baked chicken or fish.0

I like to add salt and pepper when there is no fruit. But otherwise grapes are my favorite in it, especially green ones! But any kind of fruit is really delicious. I want to try the strawberry jam mix-in though!0

My grandfather loved to season his cottage cheese with a dash of salt and pepper and some poultry seasoning (which is basically sage.) It's an acquired taste, but if you're looking for something different give that a try. It's definitely tasty.0

I like mine with a little Italian salad dressing, or some aged balsamic vinegar. Mrs. Dash, seasoned salt... The possibilities are endless!0
-
I love it with Pringles (reduced fat Originals), to give it a little salt and crunch.0
-
I just eat it with some pepper or on top of a rice cake. Yummy!0
-
Love it mixed with applesauce, or peaches, or pineapple.0

With strawberry jam is amazing..I have to agree.0

The only thing I have left to add is to sprinkle your cottage cheese with your favorite grilling spices on toast. Yum to this and all the others. I don't like it plain very well but with with something else it is heavenly.0

tomato and low sodium seasoning is my favorite. if u mix it with salsa and and find some low Cal tortilla chips that's a yummy snack too.0
-
i love cottage cheese too but it has alot of sodium. i mean i still eat it of course. i like mine with whole wheat pasta. sounds crazy, but its in lasagna. so i cook up about 2oz of whole wheat shortcut pasta and mix that into my cottage cheese with fruit. i like strawberries, peaches..etc. i will sometimes put in one sweet-n-low too. yum! i want some now!!0

my friends think i'm gross, but there's nothing more delicious for me than cottage cheese with a couple squirts of yellow mustard mixed in, some black beans and avocado. it's awesome energy food. the mustard doesn't really make the cheese taste like mustard, it just combats that bit of sourness you get, especially with the lo- and no-fat. don't knock it till you try it!0
