Knight wouldn't get on the trailer, so he's not coming today. Not sure what's happening in that department.

So, to work off my excess energy, I walked 33 minutes, did my strength exercises, and cleaned my basement sewing room.

    Hello All,
First of all, congrats to everyone for such a great week!! For me, personally, I'm going to give a big shout out to Olivia for the 3500 challenge...I do believe it has TOTALLY revved up my metabolism, because as of today, I'm down ANOTHER 3 lbs!! WHAT?? But I'll take it  We'll see if it lasts...lol

Doing pretty well with the challenges this week. Been trying to fit in at least some resistance band exercises each day. Haven't really logged it, but I'm doing it! The nutrients I picked have been good too...except for today, a bit over on sodium but that's because I had another long, rough day at work, and bought 'half cooked' dinner from the deli department and frozen veg w/cheese sauce, so that's put me over. But, once in a while isn't going to kill me!!

Thanks @aab1 for the congrats...it's FABULOUS living in ONEDERLAND!!
Rose, I hope Knight gets it together by tomorrow

    Have a great night, all!!

    chickadee2010 checking in for today
    Staying under fat recommendation: 2/7
    Weights: 3/7

I was way over on fat, and I only ate two meals, besides a snack. Grr. I got my weights in again, though.

This is a bit off in left field; but, oh well...

When you click on the "Complete" button for your daily food diary, do you ever pay attention to the 5-week projected weight? A few weeks ago I began paying more attention. You would think there needs to be some validity assuming, of course, that your food & exercise stay relatively the same.

ANYWAYS...the reason I'm posting this....my "5-week projected weight" tonight was for the FIRST time (and it better not be the last!) in ONEderland. Although I know a lot of variables will change this but I must say it was nice to see '199.9'. (A girl can dream, right?)

    Today's check in:
Exercise - ran C25K with an incline; used ankle weights for 30DS & cycling.
Food - did better today with my sodium - only 1,100. Whew!

I know you will get there, aab1! I also have tried the 5-week thing, but it didn't work for me. My food/exercise never stayed constantly within that one suggested amount.

    Ah crap.
I was a very bad girl today, food wise. Mozzerella sticks AND fast food!? Who, if they are trying to lose weight, DOES THAT!?

I just gotta remind myself, everyone has those days.

Somehow stayed under carbs and sodium today, so 3/7.
Did some weights after cardio at the gym, too, so 1/3 on that!

    Good and bad.

Tomorrow is a new day, right?

I did really well with the sodium today, and was under 1500 (my goal is to be under 2000). I've been a lot better with what I'm eating this week, and it's totally just because I actually went grocery shopping and bought good food. The last week or two I ate out a lot, and I really do feel so much better when I prepare my own meals. I'm very glad to be getting back on track. I'm not quite there with the exercise yet, but it will come.

I'm actually doing much better this week than last with the colorful foods challenge. My meals are so much more enjoyable when I add all the different colors, so it's really not that hard to incorporate them. Who would have thought that actually having groceries in your house would help with that?

Hey guys Hope you are having a better week than me. Still a little stuffy but I definitely have more energy. I'm having a little trouble getting back into the groove. I'm having huge sugar cravings so keeping the sugar down this week is really hard. I didn't even realize I had such a sweet tooth until I started tracking it. I'm also starting to get really hungry later in the day, but I think that's because I'm not getting enough protein. Will work on that. On the plus side when I went for a walk today, I thought I'd try jogging for a bit. I went a lot farther than I thought I could! Yay! I might have jogged more but my knee was starting to get sore.

@nikki - you're on the right track. sugar cravings are sometimes caused by a lack of protein. It's kinda weird, but when you're body doesn't have enough protein, it sends you messages to eat something sweet b/c of the quick energy boost you get from sugar. If you can manage it, get more protein into your breakfast and am snack - string cheese, handful of almonds, celery with (small amounts of) peanut butter will really help you. Also, if you couple a little sweet with protein that will help too (like yogurt or dark chocolate covered almonds). Good luck and GREAT JOB on the jogging!

Yey for another in the quest for a 6-pack! I didn't even know JM had a 6-pack workout, but of course she does. Kinda informal at this time, but maybe when that challenge is over, we'll officially take that one on. I for one know I won't be at 6-pack abs at the end of this challenge. I have a strong core, but I've got a lot of stuff covering it, so I have to work on both building more muscle and losing the "protective covering". BRING ON THE ABS!

Yea..The DVD has some cardio in there also to help burn the fat off the abs..she does mention that you cant spot train that way because you need cardio to get the fat off first to see the muscles underneath.. :)

    chickadee2010 checking in for today
    Staying under fat recommendation: 2/7
    Weights: 4/7

I got home late so I ate a frozen dinner, which didn't help me stay under fat. I got some more weights in today. :)

EPIC FAIL on the sodium today!! Killer day at work, didn't get to eat until almost 2:30, and by that time I was STARVING and grabbed a polish dog, and bun, and cheese sauce and fried onion/jalapeno straws and more cheese sauce...wahhhh wahhhhh
BUT, I came home, jumped on the treadie and then did some weights after, so YAY for that!!
@aab1-You'll get that, girl!! I'm far too inconsistent with my exercise to ever reach that '5 week' mark...something I am working on though

Great job to everyone!!! Oh, and Jillian's 6 pack abs is KILLER, but I love it!! (that's me crying in pain, LOL)
    TGIF-tomorrow!!!
    Take care
