If someone plopped a bowl full of what looked like baby food (which I assume is what this would look like) in front of you and said, "here is some pie" you wouldn't say "that's not pie"...?

I might.
But if they asked if I wanted to try a dessert called "guiltless pumpkin pie" I would not be expecting regular pumpkin pie and I would not chastise them for the silly name, which they may or may not have made up. I'd just give it a try or pass, depending on my mood.0 -
I need the real pie.0

If they asked if I wanted to try "guiltless pie" I'd ask for an ingredient list and make faces at them as they told me it was a can of pumpkin and coffee creamer.
That's not pie.
That's sadness

Um....there really is no comparison....calorie or otherwise
If I put a packet of sugar and some cinnamon on a baked sweet potato.....it's not sweet potato pie. It tastes good, but it's not a pie.0 -

I was really upset last year because I only got one slice of apple pie... The year before I had gotten the entire apple pie to myself.
