You know what I don't get?
People who feel the need to question other peoples' motives, only so that they can then bust out whatever theory they have that makes them feel superior to said people.
Don't like the "games" threads? Ignore them. That's what I do.
But don't use them as a reason to show us all how smart you are.
word up. I admit it I love the game threads. I have a husband who is very in love with me and a fulfilling life. It's just a good time to talk to people that are funny and challenge your mind! It's not all about hot or not!0 -

Yoda's syntactical quirk is predicated on the placement of the object of the predicate at the beginning of the sentence. It is not merely a rearrangement of the words to "sound funny" to your ear.

You...sound...hideous.0 -

I find this thread quite ironic. But then I'm not a lawyer like the OP so perhaps I'm just not smart enough to get it. Anxiously awaiting the snappy "you are an idiot" reply....

I thought Sam Beckett was dreamy at 3am the other day...I think the key words are '3am' though.0 -

It comes-off as a handful of people that are desperately looking for validation from complete strangers.
And there's something wrong with this is there?

You're so smart.
I can tell because you use words like "whilst".
