Nice running! We've just completed the first week in November & you're more than half way to your goal already.
Thanks! After not meeting the 50k last month, I wasn't too optimistic, but now the running bug really caught me ;)

    1.11. - 8.6km
    3.11. - 4.5km
    5.11. - 5.7km
    7.11. - 4.4km
    9.11. - 10.3km
11.11. - 3.9 km ... at a lovely 45F, which is close to my favourite temperature for running. Managed to set a new personal speed record of 7:09 min/km - still slow compared to the rest of the world, but it made me quite happy to read at the end of the run anyway

Tonight's effort was a straight "out and back" and somewhat annoyingly the prevailing wind had switched and the "back" part of the run was into the wind - I really should pay more attention to the conditions - never like running into a headwind on the way back!
Ran alongside a dual carriageway using the cars and lorries to get as much light on the path as possible.

    1/11 ill (manflu)
2/11 ill (2nd day - obviously a serious dose of manflu)
    3/11 REST
    4/11 4.35
    5/11 4.25 (8.6)
    6/11 6.23 (14.83)
    7/11 REST
    8/11 3.15 (17.98)
    9/11 6.66 (24.64)
    10/11 REST
    11/11 4.04 (28.68)

Got in 2 miles! Yup, that's all I could stand. Lol. We are snowed in (at least until hubs digs us out) and TV and Internet are down. Well, not down as I am obviously writing this, but I cannot stream anything. So after 2miles on the treadmill staring out the window at white nothingness I gave up. :) after all tomorrow is another day and netflix will be there.
You Minnesotans are on the news 15" of snow already. Someone forgot we should have a few more weeks of fall, right?

Thanks for serving Airman! You do that uniform proud!

4 days in Vegas before your race HonuNui? What happens in Vegas...

I don't know if I'll make it to my goal or not. I've been slowed down by pain in the back of my leg behind my knee. It does better if I take more rest than I was.
A pain free run is more important than this goal. Give yourself permission to rest & heal.

Great job! 45F is a perfect run temp!

Your body definitely needs a rest day. I know mine sure does and it lets me know when. Listen to your body, we don't want you to get hurt.
Thanks - I ran today, an afternoon stress relief run but after the grief I got from my trainer tonight I am going to take tomorrow off. I do want to be healthy going into December. I have a half at the end of the year that I would really like to PR.

Thanks! I have it book marked now for reference! After reading it I have even more respect for what you do! The problem I have is that it is addictive! I feel so great after I run, even if the run itself wasn't that great. The stress relief just makes my day better and makes me a much nicer person!

Late starter here. Dragged my behind out of bed, threw on my stocking cap, gloves and long pants/shirts to face the dark, 20-degree Wisconsin morning for my first 1.3 miles. First run since my half-marathon in September and felt great! Brrr....now off to take a warm shower.

I hear you. I've actually had my running shoes handed to me & been told, "You need to go for a run, NOW." Running apparently makes me a nicer person too. The endorphin 'high' of improved Serotonin & Dopamine levels from running can be very addictive. I happen to think that's a good thing, but like all good things moderation is key. It won't matter how good running makes us feel if we run ourselves into exhaustion or an injury. You can still run everyday, just switch it up a little.
