What's your weight loss rate?

About a week ago I reached healthy BMI for the first time in 18-20 years. To do that I've lost 30kg (66lbs) in 202 days at a steady 1kg (2.2lbs) per week and the graphs show a near straight line drop too. Just another 5kg to go to get to where I think I will start the maintenance.0

Approximately:
.23 pounds per day.
1.61 pounds per week.
6.9 pounds per (30 day) month.
I've never broken it down like that before. Awesome thread!
Awesome stats and great way to break it down!
I've lost 23 lbs in 110 days.
.21 lbs per day
1.46 lbs per week
6.57 lbs per month
10 lbs from goal!!! But it's slowed down a bit now (145) Hoping to be close to 140 by Christmas0 -
I've only been going 3 weeks. I lost 6.2 pounds first week. 2.6 2nd week and 2.2 this week. I try and average 1200 calories a day. But I go way over upto 2000cals on a couple of days and 1400 on others. But it averages out over the week. I think this up and down calorie intake means my body isn't getting used to the 1200 day in and day out. It's working anyway. I'm 188pounds and 5'5.5 tall. I've always been on fad diets and they work but to hard to maintain.0

This is such a cool thread! I'm a numbers junkie so I was almost giddy to do this. lol.
23 lbs. in 124 days
.185 lbs. per day
1.3 lbs. per week
5.19 lbs. per month0 -
I'm also a numbers freak.
Here are my stats:
63lbs in 140 days
.45lbs per day
3.15lbs per week
13.5lbs per month

86 lbs in 6 months (20 lost before MFP)
3 lbs a week overall, 3.8/wk since I started food logging end of July
.42 lbs a day, .54/day since I started logging
60 lbs to go
BMI from 45 to 32, 13 lbs to go to go from obese to overweight.0 -
lost 31.8lbs in 86 days Or .37 lbs. A day or 2.58 per week.0
-
So far… 104 pounds in about 213 days (approx. 7 months and 3 days)0
-
I've lost 100lbs in a little over 8 months but the beginning weight came off pretty rapidly. I'm averaging 2lbs a week, now.0
-
Over the last 7 months
24 lbs in 7 months
3.44 lbs/month
0.8lbs/week
Of course, it didn't fall off this linearly. Generally, I was losing 1.2-1.5lbs/week at the beginning, then upped my calories to slow it down to about .5-.8lbs/week. Now I am purposefully losing at around .2-.5lbs/week (only have ~5lbs to go, aiming for a "soft landing" into maintenance).0 -
I've lost about 18-19 lbs in 91 days. It's about .19 per day or 1 lb per week. I'll take it I've gone from a size 10 to fitting into 6's.
I'm hoping if I can continue this rate through December I'll get into my healthy weight range before January 1.0 -
21 pounds in 75 days = averaging .28 pounds per day. It includes pizza and cake on my daughter's birthday, and a terrific no logging break for Thanksgiving. I am imagining a leaving a stick of butter behind every day.0
-
16 pounds in 74 days (I've been very stop-start, but this is my longest streak!)
Averaging 0.21 pounds per day, or about 1.5 pounds per week.0 -
around 700g a week so far. 8 weeks lost 5.7 pounds.0
-
Since August 2013.... 0 lbs / wk.
There were complications this spring/summer....... but now I start again.0 -
22lbs in 12 weeks. so just under the 2lb a week, but i am in this for the long game so not stressing on the weeks i lose less, seems to balance itself out.0
-
40 pounds over 13 months
.7 pounds lost per week
Slow and steady, but my body doesn't feel "shocked" like it did when I dropped the weight faster. Has anybody else experienced hair loss with weight loss - particularly rapid weight loss? My hair hasn't seemed to grow back from a earlier attempt at rapid weight loss several years ago. I would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this or has found a solution.0 -
Hmmm, I've got one of the slowest rates of loss I've seen here. I had my baby at the end of February; she's nine months old now. I'm down 22.8 lbs since I first weighed when we got home from the hospital. That's 0.08 lbs per day.
But I'm back to my prepregnancy body without hurting my milk supply0 -
4lbs loss in 20 days
so .2lbs a day? (math skills)0 -

28.2 pounds in 6 weeks. 0.67 pounds / day. I started MFP 9 weeks ago, but didn't weighted myself for the first 3 weeks. I didn't have a scale. Lost 4.6 pounds last week but didn't do exercices because I hurt my back. Best week so far is 6 pounds0

I've lost 100 in 9 months, which is about 0.37 per day. Seems that's about the standard.0
-
19 lbs in 11 weeks that is about 0.246 lbs per day. I eat to lose 2 lbs a week (0.286 lbs per day)0

When you've been at it for a long time the loss slows significantly. I started roughly December 2011. So almost exactly 3 years. I've lost 75 lbs give or take. I've gone in spurts of losing and maintaining. Here is how it averages out over the three years.
- 25 lbs per year
- 2.08 lbs per month
- .52 lbs per week
- .074 lbs per day
Initially was losing 10 lbs a month...now it really is about 2 lbs a month.

Only been back into things for a couple of weeks....
4.3kg down so far = 2.15kg/week (9.5lbs down so far = 4.75lbs/week)
That will definitely slow down soon0 -
230 days, 61.5 pounds lost, so .27 pounds per day, 1.87 pounds per week.0
-
.16 lbs per day. 30 lbs in 184 days. Almost 1 lb per week
Happy for it. Halfway there0 -
78 lb. since the first of the year so that is 1.625 a week.0

Since today:

BP almost back to normal values
And sugar level is down to normal!!0
