Yeah, you should start reading those food labels on raspberry artificially flavored drinks. No one wants to drink beaver butt.

last Friday night - a huge beef burger with mozzarella, portabella mushrooms, carmalized onions and some kind of white sauce on it. Garlic fries on the side. Fries were gross, the sauce on the burger was overkill - but still...heart attack on a plate. Mind you, I only ate 2/3rds of the burger, lol.

Not shameful just eye opening, during Mockingjay I ate 1600 cals in sweets and popcorn. Half a bag of Andes mints, half a bag of Butterfinger bites, half a bag of twizzlers pull n peel, half a BUCKET popcorn with butter and cheese seasoning....And that was making sure I only ate half of everything I got. I used to eat the whole package... Back in January I would've eaten 3200 cals worth of sweets during a movie.

I saw Mockingjay yesterday (it was good BTW). I always have to go to the candy store in the mall and get two scoops of chocolate covered raisins and mix it with popcorn and a big bottle of water. The water was the healthiest thing!! LOL!

On Saturday I finished off the last couple slices from my birthday cake, and the buttercream brownie bar things. Then I went to the movies & had popcorn. I'm not sorry. It was delicious, and if I can't eat a ton of dessert because of my 30th birthday, when can I?!

Ok, we call it "cake pie" because it is a pie my mom used to make that has morphed into a cake because it works better in a push pan. Crust is Nilla Wafers and Graham Crackers (like 3 to 1 in favor of the wafers) mixed with some butter and sugar. Then a layer of vanilla ice cream - full fat of course. About a quart (or whatever size they are these days). Next layer - bananas (about 4) blended with butterscotch caramel sauce and about 1/2 cup brandy (to prevent it from freezing rock solid which was always the problem that my mom had when she made it - she would do the banana's sliced and top it with the butterscotch caramel - almost impossible to cut it). Top layer is whipped cream - a pint mixed with about 1/4 cup powdered sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla. All frozen. Made it for the BFs birthday a couple weeks ago because he loves it and I actually love it too. Plan to make another one because we couldn't wait and the middle part didn't freeze enough and went everywhere (did end up freezing well later but hey, it still tasted good).

I did try to log it - entered it in and made the number of servings the weight of the thing, and then made it that many servings (so the calories were 3 per gram). Totally worth the calories.

I went to a Hong Kong style cafe in the city and ordered Shrimp with Walnut. It was delicious...huge shrimp, candied walnuts, lettuce, the best rice ever...and although I expected a mayo-based sauce from the description, the sauce was straight-up MAYO. Like several tablespoons of thick gooey white mayo. Mixed together it tasted fantastic but yeah, not gonna eat that regularly.
