Ooooh! I am so glad I found this thread. I am JUST under 5 foot 2. And I am 108.2kg (240ish) pounds. My goal is 56kg.
This is super motivating!
I'll definitely post befores and afters when I am done! And as I progress.
Currently, I run/walk/jog 5km daily -with my daughter in her pushchair, or with my dog, or both!
I also gym, but prefer running.0 -

I have no pictures but here's my story so far.
I'd love some short weight loss buddies so please feel free to add me!
I'm 5'2 btw!
I was 190lbs at the beginning of 2012. Lost 30lbs by July of that year then I found out I was pregnant. At this point I was at my lowest weight In adult life. I stopped weighing myself when I went well past 200lbs pregnant.
My son was born via c-section at the end of March 2013. I did not weigh myself until July-ish of that year, I was 180lbs.
Since then, (mostly thanks to breastfeeding!) without any effort on my part I magically stand at 160lbs again. I have pretty much lived off junk right now but continuing to breastfeed a toddler means I'm slowly dropping weight.
I decided now is probably the best time to actively try to drop weight! This is the first time in my life I have ever started a diet at what I consider a low weight. My weight has yo-yoed between 170 to 190 my entire adult life.
It's stupidly exciting to know that every pound I'm about to drop will bring me to a weight I haven't ever seen on the scale!0 -
I'm 5'3" and 128lb and started at 155. I wear a size 4. I don't have before pics, but you can see my current ones on my profile.0

Done.
If I had to guess your age based on your photos, I would have been 10 years off! That is something for me to aspire to.0 -
for your height and age you should be between 100 and 120 pounds.
http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/resources/heart/latino-weight-html/need
Some sources vary a little bit, some say between 105- and 125, but I think as long as you weight more than 100 and less than 125 you are in the healthy weight range in terms of disease risk and things like that. Check out the chart its easy to use and shows you your bmi. Also, American and European/ Australian charts differ by 1-5 pounds. American charts say we should be a few pounds heavier than the European charts show, but its really subjective and as long as your close to the recommendations and happy with yourself I think its fine!0 -
Amazing transformation!0

So I started earlier this year and am only 6lb down from where I started but I've been working out 3/4 dats per week and lifting regularly. My 1rpm back squat is 210lb and I feel GREAT!
Oh I'm 5'1 and 125lb I had a baby 3 years ago and had lost 2 stone/ 28lb before I started because as you can see I was very squishy around the edges! Still some work to do but I'm getting there!0 -

This thread has been a huge inspiration for me and I couldn't wait to contribute when I first started. I'm not at my goal weight yet, but I figure this could be a bump for the thread and I wanted to throw in my success!
SW: 152.5 at the beginning of November (my heaviest)
CW: 141.8 pic taken today!
My goal is to get to ~120lbs. I haven't felt this good about my body in a while!1 -

I posted just recently. I am 5ft (well actually 4' 11 and 1/2" ) I started out at 74kg (163 lbs) and I'm now 53kg (117lb). I didn't really change my diet in regards to what I ate but instead changed my portion sizes which had been far too big. I also started running and just recently completed my first 1/2 marathon. So here are my before and after photos

Whoop! I just posted this in another thread but I'm 5'0" and currently weigh 120. At my heaviest I was 160 (roughly 8 years ago) and I've managed to keep it all off since then! Here are a few pics!

I just begun my journey, your story is such an inspiration

I'm 5'0" and 34 years old. I was my heaviest at about 145 when I had my son in 2009. I've maintained 113 for the most part since then but I am currently 117. Extra weight from the holidays. Ultimately, I would like to get to 100. In my profile photo, the one on the left was Summer of 2011. One on right is Summer 2014.
I would love to connect with other shorties on here who are pretty active and log everyday and who are willing to offer mutual support and encouragement so feel free to add me! :-)0 -
All so inspiring, I've gone through the whole thread! I am 5'2" and am currently the heaviest I have ever been and it's really taking a toll on my self esteem. I'm committed to get back to 117lbs or back to how I looked at that weight as that's when I was comfortable. I log daily now and would love for some fellow little'uns to be my friend so we can support eachother.0

All of you look beautiful!
I started at 199 and currently stand at 188. (5.2")
Thank you for the inspiration.0 -
One year weight loss. 5'1. Started Jan 2014, eating 1200/day, bumped up to 1400. Stayed active, bootcamps, running, strength training. Happy to report, I lost about 20-25 lbs and went from a snug 8 to a loose 4 in pants. I only counted calories for 6 months. After that I realized I now had good eating habits and didnt need log every thing I ate. I now am an avid gym goer and in 3 days I run my first half marathon! NEVER GIVE UP! Even if you go one day to the gym and skip the rest of the week. Start over next week. Eventually, you will get the inspirtation you need. Might take a while. But it will happen
Starting weight 145
Current 120-125 not really sure, just know that I can wear a size 3/4 and I am happy with that1 -
Love seeing success stories from "shorties" like me! You all are so inspirational and help keep me motivated! I'm 5'2 and I get discouraged when the scale doesn't change as much or as fast as I want it to.0

I'm so happy I found this post! I'm 5' 2" and just started eating healthy and walking on 12/29/14! As of 01/12/15, I started at the gym with a trainer. My start weight was 170lbs, I'm currently at 165lbs, and my goal is to be 130lbs and toned! I have a almost 2 year old daughter therefore I have the extra skin to tone, but seeing all of your results has motivated me so much so thank you all.0
